The services at Schad and Zabel Funeral Homes are provided by Mr. William F. Schad (Bill). Mr. Schad became an owner of the funeral home in 1983 and has been a life long resident of the Plainview area.
At Schad and Zabel Funeral Homes, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
He was a life-long member of Community Presbyterian Church in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1962. He attended the University of Minnesota St. Paul campus studying swine production. He joined the Army's 407th Civil Affairs Company. Elaine was born and raised on the family farm east of Plainview.
