Ken, having had our condo managed by one of the largest management companies on the Alabama coast since 2004 and then managing it ourselves for the next two years, I had had enough! I got a letter in the mail from Beach Getaways in August of 2014 explaining their services. We then signed an agreement in October that year.

My husband and I enjoyed the condo and the stay was exactly what we were looking for. The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated and a lot of things we would buy during our stay was provided already. The transaction throughout the process was smooth and effortless. Our only issue was the balcony did not provide total privacy. There was a half wall that separated us frow the neighbors and you almost had to whisper to be respectful.

We scheduled our stay in Perdido Key, FL through the actual management office at the facility, but part way through the process they moved all rental management to Beach Getaways. We did not expect a good outcome with this transfer but we were pleased with all contact with My Beach Getaways. They were very responsive to any and all questions we had. They were very good about sending updates and information regarding the complex and the stay. Over all, they left us with a good experience and we will certainly use them again in the future.

Amazing time of year to visit Orange Beach, and even more amazing was the location and comfort of this property to make the trip even better. We had never stayed at one of the Phoenix buildings before and were very impressed, as were we equally with the entire Beach Getaways experience!

Beach Getaways” is the WORST place to EVER rent a Condo!
I paid for the month upfront, we only stayed a week, of that week, maybe stayed at the condo for 2 nights with my wife. (It was a nightmare)
The condo was a dirty mess, it was filthy, with dust and when we left before the month I Prepaid for was up, I was due a refund back, for the difference, well first Stephanie tells me on that Friday : “you have to wait until Monday for someone to sign the check”.
Which I knew that sounded fishy, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and on that “Monday” morning, I called Stephanie

We went for vacation but had to leave early due to a hurricane hitting between where we were and where we had to go home after our vacation. The condo was great, clean, and very accommodating for our family. Check-in is easy, check-out is easy. Location is perfect. Right on the beach. Probably would get a lower one or even ground floor next time to give the kids easier access to the pool. Really wish we could have stayed for our entire planned trip.

Condo was nice and updated. Lots of space for our family. Big outdoor pool area. You can rent chairs and umbrellas for about $40 per day. They open on the beach for 9am. 3 groceries close by for shopping. The restaurants were good but had long wait times for dinner. Elevators are a problem at the condo with long wait times. Plan accordingly! 2 complaints: black mold on the AC vents in the condo. called and they cleaned them. 2) I payed $35 for a parking pass which I did not need and was unable to get a refund from beach getaways or Phoenix 5.

We booked in May fir a June stay at Island Winds West Unit 580 in Gulf Shores and arrived on Thursday afternoon having flown from Colorado. The code we were provided in our check in email would not work on the unit door so we called the number given on the arrival email and were told that entity did not handle Island Winds West. We called the number from our initial reservation and left a message. We were standing in the hot, miserable hallway of the 5th floor with all of our luggage for @ 45 minutes and I became physically ill due to the heat. Someone finally called with a code that worked

I have made a million hotel reservations over the past 30+ years. Beach Getaways is by far the easiest to work with. We were traveling with another family and they were able to provide us with condo until right next door to each other. Will definitely be using them for me t years vacation.

Phoenix V 116. About to go into Day 3 and still no response, other than fixing the dishwasher, or answer for the disaster this condo is. At this point I'm getting pissed. Parents paid $2100 for this condo for 4 nights and it's nothing like the photos. It's disgusting. I called yesterday afternoon and talked to someone for quite awhile with a list of complaints and was told I would be called back first thing in the morning. Still no call. I had to call today around 1 and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. We have Visible thick black Mold in kitchen, bathroom

The property that was rented, the Caribe was beautiful, but I can not recommend this agency for renting in the future. We were locked out of the unit, and after calling beach getaways numerous times, no one ever called me back to let us in. We had to show proof to the Caribe staff, and we were finally let into the unit. This was after a day at the pool, and we were tired and had a 3 year old w us. They still have not called me back. I also had to make a special trip, after we checked out to return the card keys or get charged for not returning.

** Update! I got a call from the manager at Beach Getways, and Emma worked with me. She relisted the property and get this... it was rebooked within 36 hours and I got all but a $49 booking fee back! WOW! So, while original call was not handled well, management does care. Ask for Emma. I would work with this company again! ***

This company is a bunch of scam artists. We were scheduled to fly out from Ca the day Irma was hitting FL. We called 4 days prior to reschedule our trip in order to get out of the way of all those evacuating FL and the surrounding states. Emma Lindsey refused to consider any type of return of funds (it was required to pay in full, what a mistake on our part) or credit for the two days we'd rented a condo from them. Our airline sent us an email a week prior offering us a refund in order to free up airline seats for those needing to get out. Beach Getaways are unethical and only looking to get
