Caribe is great. Great location. Great views. Great amenities. Getting dated however and need to address some deferred maintenance. Exercise room is circa 1994.

We enjoy coming to the caribe, and have been for several years. All of the condos we have stayed in have been clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. The outside pools are just beautiful and clean. The inside pools could use some updating and maintenance. The lobbies look dated but are clean. Overall, a fun place to stay.

We enjoyed most of our stay, we were here for a week with additional family. Our unit (thru Beachball) was great, clean, spacious, terrific views, nicely furnished, few issues. Resort had several amenities we used. It was a little too chilly for outdoor pools but they were clean and appeared well maintained. Kids did do lazy river and enjoyed - also clean, some tiles missing, and floats were provided. They provided shuttle to Point Beach, and were prompt (not busy) and friendly. I also walked to Point Beach, just a few minutes from either front gate (easier, partially with side walk) and by Cobalt

If you are just a pool or condo type of person....this is your place. They have an awesome lazy river and endless pools for kids! Grills on site. The splash pad is closed so that was a big bummer.
However, we were mislead as to how easy it was to get to the beach. The beach is extremely hard to get to in my opinion and I am a very fit and active individual. We are beach people so we will not be returning to this resort. There is a trolly that will take you and pick you up but to be able to get to the beach you have to walk along a very very very very long boardwalk if you want to sit near the

This place is exactly as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. We just came back from our vacation and we enjoyed absolutely everything about our trip.The resort has so many things to do.There are pools in each building indoor and out door mini-golf,tennis courts ,restaurants, etc it's absolutely amazing! You are literally minutes away from an amazing beach,excursions,shopping, and the
strip but the resort is so nice you have to make yourself get out and enjoy the city!!The people are so nice!

I have stayed here many, many, many times. My dad's last trip to the beach we stayed on the 12th floor. SO many great memories....until Hurricane Ida. Then, I watched this group of greedy Bast&$#s triple the price for two reasons which I will leave out of the review because anyone with 1/3 of a brain would know the reasons. SHAME ON YOU CARIBE RESORT. I SHALL NEVER RETURN

Absolutely love visiting the Caribe Resort. There are several pools, a lazy river, an indoor pool, sauna, small arcade, a snack bar, trolley service to the beach, etc. Very family friendly. We loved the room we stayed in. Everything was up to date, beautiful coastal themed decorations, clean, wifi and cable. Everyone here is visiting our staff has been so nice. We will definitely visit again and again.

Fabulous resort with all the amenities possible. The pools were perfect for all ages, including our toddler. When a storm blew in, we just moved to one of the indoor pools or wet/dry sauna. Elevators were fast and clean and the staff ensures the floors inside the main atrium remains dry, despite all the pool traffic from guests going returning to their rooms. The shuttle to the beach was also pretty quick. Overall, the resort left us wanting to purchase a condo on the property. Outstanding experience!

Always a top notch place! We never stay anywhere else with all of the beautiful condos and amenities! Thank you for a wonderful vacation and a beautiful place to relax! They do have some work ongoing with repairs from Hurricane Sally but it did not deter from our time.

I tried, I really did, but for $500+ a night, I really expect:
1. A working refrigerator in our unit, and that the "backup" refrigerator not be in the dining room, and so small and with broken shelving that it can't hold much (for a 3 bedroom condo that's supposed to sleep 8!);
2. One large pot in the kitchen to cook for the number of people the condo holds. Apparently that's not possible;
3. More than 3 coffee cups. Really?;
4. Clean pools that aren't so cloudy that I can't see my feet in 3 feet of water!!! Oh and no bandaids in the water, nor maxi pads. I am

Very spacious had 11 people in our condo but plenty of space to find a quiet area if you need to. The balcony was perfect with complete views of the beach and some of the ocean the sunsets are like pieces of heaven! Everyone you meet in the hallways are so kind I felt like I never met a stranger with all the southern hospitality. Its definitely a home away from home. Plenty of pools and amenities the Cobalt restaurant in walking distance. You can't go wrong staying here!!

The unit (C804) we stayed in was very clean, spacious and had an amazing view! The owner was also very great to work with!!

The grounds are in need of major updates and a deep cleaning!! Not all amenities are open either.

If this place would simply clean up, add a fresh coat of paint everywhere, add some chlorine to the pools and open up all amenities, I would give it one more star. The fifth star is probably not achievable because it has to do with how crowded the pools were.

We could not say enough good things about our stay at Caribe. We stayed in C204 with 11 people and had plenty of room. The condo was spacious and clean. The resort amenities including the pool complexes were awesome. We had an amazing vacation and Caribe resort was perfect for us. Each bedroom had an attached bathroom and the master bath and bedroom were great, the balcony was absolutely huge and a great place to hang out and the living area and kitchen were spacious. We spent two days enjoying the various pool complexes and cabana bar - our kids loved the pools and lazy river. Parking was also

We had wonderful views of both sides. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our bedroom and balcony. The condo was bigger than expected. Elevators are pretty fast. Everything seemed clean. Lots of pools for everyone. The beach and ocean are gorgeous! My 13 yo son had a great time. He very much enjoyed having his own room and a bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. The on-site restaurant is a must! Go early and beat the happy hour crowds. It was a beautiful spot with great prices. My only complaint is the beds were pretty hard and the linens were scratchy. I expected more for the price I paid. Other than that

Well, was staying at a $4,000 a week condo had two 16-year-old kids mess with a water hose in the lobby and we got a knock on the door letting us know that all 13 people in this condo had one hour to leave, well first of all there's no way we can leave in 1 hour, second of all we offered to pay for the damage and inconvenience and they refused to accept the $500 and then they come knocking on our door the very next day telling us that they wanted the $500 after turning it down the night before after I went to jail for 1000 dollars. Bottom line is they kicked out 2 16 year old kids out on the

We rented this place through Air B and B. It was great! We didn't use the pools but if you have kiddos, it's a great spot. 2 separate pool areas and one has slides. Walking distance to the beach is quite a distance with coolers but it's about a 3 minute Uber ride.

Terrible experience. We booked two condos for our family beside each other. Upon arrival we were told one room had a maintenance issue so they need to move half of our group. Not a great start. They put us on different floors at different ends. Told us that we would have to move our last night! Pack up our stuff with 6 small children the last night! Well ok and behold the SECOND to last day they called our room at 8:45am and said we had to be out in an hour. Half of our group was already headed to the beach. They offered no assistance. We couldn't get carts to move our stuff. They were condescending

This should be just o.k. We stayed at Caribe C509 this past week and the master bedroom would not cool off even when the rest of the Condo was cold enough to hang meat. No matter what we tried the air was uncomfortable the entire visit. Also, both beds were as hard as the Flintstones's rock mattress. I was unable to rest the entire time due to the hardness of the mattresses.
One last minor thing, the Jacuzzi tub for the second bedroom jets did not work

This is one of the top-end condo's along the strip (Gulf Shores to Florida State line). You are going to pay top, top dollar! You will get an elegant open to the top floor atrium in each building. There 8s an indoor pool, the suites are good sized and with a plush decor. Full kitchens, nice sized bedrooms, a great view of either the pass or the beach (suites on certain ends have view of both). There is a marina and restuarant on property, but you will want to drive there versus the long walk. The marina offers dolphin charters and other rental/charter options. The restuarant is elegant in presentation

We LOVE the Caribe!! We have been here many times, and we keep coming back year after year. The grounds are immaculate, and the amenities are plentiful. We love how the resort is situated between the ocean and the bay. Its quiet and peaceful but has the added interest of the bay activity. The sunsets are always amazing, and sometimes you can hear live music coming from the amazing Cobalt restaurant. We highly recommend this resort!
TIP: Book and end unit where you can see both the ocean and the bay. You won't regret it? Unit 501C is our favorite!!

Do not stay here! Positives: condo was nice and large; walking distance to a great restaurant; views
Negatives: pools were vet dirty! Trash and band aides all over pool deck. Pool Water was foggy. No life guards. Kids were getting hurt constantly on slides. Blood in the pool. Never saw any hotel staff near or around the pool ever. The dryer broke. Maintenance staff was so nice. Offered to dry out clothes in linen room but we were not able to touch base with him again. The next day the manager told us to walk back and fourth between 2 towers and use another units dryer ( even though ours was fixed

Absolutely beautiful resort! Upon arrival you come to a security gate. They are sticklers, they check your parking pass daily and make sure the correct dates are on your pass. So this makes the line long to get into the resort at times.

The rooms are spacious, updated, homey. At our house the boys aren't allowed to have TVs in their room, so that was their favorite part. I loved the jacuzzi tub in the master.

The only drawback to our room is that they ripped up the carpet in the master closet. The carpet tacks were still in the floor. They put a rug over the threshold, but when you walked

One of the nicest, brightest, cleaning resorts we have stayed at.
Newly remodeled rooms.
Beautiful interior and exterior. Private indoor parking.
Duo Glass elevators that zip between floors. This resort is on the beach but it's a 10 minute walk. However they have trolleys that run whenever you want them from 8a-8pm. Just give em a call and they pick you up in 2 minutes. Beautiful white sandy beaches.
9 pools (6 outdoor, 3 indoors) 8 water slides. Steam rooms, spas, snack bar, restaurant, boat rental, jet ski rental, and cruises are all available.
Bbq grills, playgrounds and much more

I stayed here for 3 nights with my children, parents, niece and nephew. It was a great experience. The room was clean, spacious and had sufficient toiletry supplies to get you started.
The pool areas were well kept and I noticed security doing the rounds. There are no lifeguards but I did hear security telling children to stop dangerous activities. The kids all loved the slides and the indoor hot tubs. I loved the wet and dry saunas. The hotel is designed in such a way that all rooms have a great view.
You can walk or get a shuttle to the beach. I drove because its only 2 minutes and far more
