Rafael's Catering has been serving the Bay Area for over 37 years. From Weddings to Baptisms, from Quinceneras to Cotillions, to Birthdays, Retirements and Corporate events, let us be a part of your special occasion. After serving 21 years in the US Navy, specializing in mess hall management and culinary duty, Rafael decided to start his own catering business with his wife Ester.
We provide buffet style packages with 7 items for 50-75 guests and 11 item packages for 100 guests or more. Rafael's Catering has been serving the Bay Area for over 39 years.

Services
These Packages are for events with 50 or 75 guests and you can choose from either the International Filipino Menu or the Classic American Menu starting at $13 per person. We call them Pickup Packages because you can choose to pick up this order or we can deliver it as well (subject to delivery fees and taxes).
We do not take orders over the phone. Once you submit your Contact Form, we will send you a price quote within 2-3 business days of receipt. After finalizing your menu and providing details of your event, we will send you the Contract and Invoice and require a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your date.

Frankie is one of the best people I've ever worked with. I've done over five events with her and she's amazing. Her and her husband are so professional and the food has been amazing every time.
As the owner of a staffing company, catering clients are very important. Rafael's always knows how many people are needed but always let's me have a say directly with the client and this always makes things go so much smoother overall

This is hands down the best catering ever!! Frankie is highly knowledgeable, professional and approachable. Everything was delicious. She stayed in communication with me during my many questions, adjustments and false finals. Thank you Frankie and family for the delicious food and amazing service!! I cannot say enough good things about Rafael's Catering! Frankie was great to work with and the food was AMAZING! Our wedding guests came up to us just to tell us how good the food was and many had seconds! We had plenty for everyone and even had enough to take some home. If you are looking for catering in the Vallejo/ Napa area, go with Rafael's!!!!!

The food are amazing. Frankie is so accommodating and very flexible with our schedule. We have so many changes during my sons wedding because of the pandemic. I gave her such a short notice. Frankie was amazing and very responsive to my emails throughout my planning process. Cost was extremely reasonable and EVERYONE at my event loved the food. We had about 75 people show up and had ordered two trays of rotisserie chicken, shrimp alfredo, mixed vegetables, a green salad and the yummiest, softest rolls I think I've ever tasted (LOL). Even after everyone had one to two plates, there were plenty of leftovers.
The two guys that came to drop off and pick up we're very friendly and professional! They even helped me pack all of the leftovers into trays to leave the food with us

Just wanted to give a a big thank you to Raphael and his staff. I was so glad to book them for my son high school graduation party this past Friday. It was such a huge success. Family and friends were complimenting how great the food was and it was plenty left over. The whole interaction with booking them couldn't be any easier they also communicated so well through emails. Being from San Francisco every other catering company didn't really offer what I wanted for my son party. Raphael even though there was a delivery charge it was well worth it. People are still talking about the party

Amazing. They catered my nephew's graduation party Friday night, all you heard was "the food is sooooooo good."
Everything was soooo delicious. They were on time. They just did an all around amazing job. This is definitely the way you want to go if you're looking for a really great catering service in the Bay Area.

Outstanding food and service from beginning to end. Frankie was easy to work with, communicative, and accommodating. I asked if they could make the food gluten free by using gluten free soy sauce. I love certain dishes m, like menudo, but I usually can't eat it because of a wheat alleged. Rafael's agreed to do it and did not even charge us extra; many places charge extra for gluten free.
The food was absolutely delicious. My guests raved about it. I was happy to recommend Rafael's to my guests.

This review is long overdue! We used Rafael's Catering a while back for my grandmother's repast held in Oakland. What can I say? There were 200 hundred people AND PLENTY OF DELICIOUS FOOD. WE absolutely could not have selected a better caterer! As you can imagine with a funeral this was a quick order and turnaround. Joe Santos was so easy to work with, making it easy for our family! I have to say that all of our needs were met. AND THE COST WAS REASONABLE!!!! If I never said THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Our menu was as follows:

If you're looking for a caterer, you would want a someone who is: (1) reliable, (2) responsive, and (3) affordable. Above all, of course, the food should be good.
Rafael's catering is all of those things. I loved working with Joe Santos, he's very easy going and he'll work with a party of any size and budget. My only qualm is that I wish the international menu was more extensive. Other than that, the food here is very good. I recommend the grilled chicken and the ribs.
