Playing a key role as the executive sous-chef at Farmstead Restaurant serving American farmhouse fare and then as the executive chef at Tarla Meditrranean Grill serving Greek/Turkish fusion cuisine.

Chef Castro can provide numerous services including Brazilian BBQ's, paella parties, private dinners and luncheons, cooking classes and demonstrations and nutritional counseling. Raised in Guanajuato, Mexico, Gerardo discovered his culinary talents while growing up on his family's farm. Being raised close to the land gave him a special interest in food that continues to guide his approach to cooking.
Having Chef Castro cook a dinner or luncheon party in your home or business ensures a fantastic meal, and allows you to concentrate on your guests, relax and have a good time. He will create a menu that perfectly complements the occasion. Food can be served either rustic/family style or plated and coursed out.

For a very intimate and luxurious dinner with my family that had not reunited for a bit, it was extremely important to ensure all the details were nailed. Castro Catering took it the extra mile and executed a wonderful culinary experience. The service is world class and the food just mouth watering. I knew when I took the first bite that we made the right choice. It is obvious that Chef Castro and his team are completely immersed and enjoy what they do. Recommended! You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I use Castro Catering for our wedding on August 2013, it was amazing!
We have being in many weddings and food was tasty so for our wedding being different we wanted to have a very unique made out.
Before the weeding,
When we communicated with Chef Gery Castro by phone and email we told him what we were interested in terms of food and how we wanted to be serve we told him dietary restrictions for some of our guests. Next we schedule a tasting he wanted to make sure we were happy with his suggestions and that all were to our taste, as soon as I tasted that food I was so happy

I have hired Castro Catering for numerous events and couldn't be happier with Chef Gerardo's food and service. From intimate dinners to large parties, Castro Catering has always delivered an incredible culinary experience for our guests.
