Services

For all prescription refills, routine appointments, and non-urgent issues, please call the office during normal phone hours 9 AM to 4 PM. Please arrive on time for your appointment, and new patients 15 minutes early to complete any necessary paperwork.

Please also bring your insurance card and driver's license (or other government identification). As part of your skin exam, your face and scalp will be checked. We ask that you come to your appointment without makeup or excessive hair styling products. These appointments Take 4 months to schedule so plan accordingly.

Excellent reputation as skilled doctor, but won't see you for months if you are not a current patient, which is an absurd policy in many instances. I had a bug bite in my leg that became an abscess that was not responding to antibiotics prescribed by my general practitioner. I called for an appointment this morning, but Dr. Sawchuk's office refused to see me for two months. That's right, two months! How would my leg be then? Is that putting patients first, or something else? This statement from their website is laughable, "When you have needs for dermatological care, you need to turn to a doctor

Dr. Sawchuck has a no-nonsense approach but very personable. Learned he used to be a pharmacist before becoming a medical doctor, and find that helpful. He clearly has expertise in dermatology and was extremely knowledgeable. He also extended assistance in getting me a more affordable option for my medication and was very accommodating. Will definitely be returning as I have confidence in his abilities. Office is being renovated and observing Covid safety standards with staff and patients. Some office staff can be rough around the edges but I believe they mean well. It's important to treat patients

I’m delighted to give Dr.Sawchuck five stars. We moved here in June of 2019 . At my first visit Dr. Sawchuck biopsied a suspicious area that turned out to be a malignant melanoma. Thanks to his diligence the Mohs surgery and subsequent skin graft has kept me with my Grandchildren. I can think of no higher praise than he saved my life.

I have been treated by Dr. Sawchuk over the past year for chronic rosacea with excellent results. Unlike other dermatologists I’ve seen in the past who are more “cosmetic” dermatologists, Dr. Sawchuk clearly understands how to effectively treat diseases of the skin. While very personable, he has a no-nonsense approach which I appreciate. I highly recommend Dr. Sawchuk.

Dr Sawchuk is a fabulous doctor, so much so that we paid out of pocket to see him although he was out of network. Unfortunately, at today's visit (2020/01/28) , we were informed that my wife could no longer sit-in on my exams, nor me on her's. The explanation given was the good doctor's lack of ability to control his social impulses when more than one person is present. This apparently backs up the schedule. It is true that the Doc is sociable, but one might imagine that sociability could be an asset. My wife and I ALWAYS sit in on each other's medical exams because a second set of ears is useful

I was referred to this office by my primary care physician. When I made the appointment, I specifically asked if they participated in my insurance plan and was told they did. I waited a month for the appointment. When I arrived, I was unceremoniously told that in fact they do not take my insurance. I was treated rudely and unprofessionally, and there were no apologies. I can’t speak to the doctor’s competence because I didn’t get that far, thanks to his administration, to which I would give very low marks.
