I am a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer based in Los Angeles. It began as a documentary of my friends, family, dogs, affiliated organizations, travels-my favorite everythings. I've been taking photos for years, and finally in 2018, I decided to quit my 9-5 job and dedicate all my time to photography.
I have had the privilege of meeting wonderful people, traveling to beautiful locations, helping local businesses, and documenting love stories for clients to cherish and relive for generations to come. In addition to weddings, my team and I photograph everything from products and corporate events to family and fashion portraits.

Joshua is super professional, kind, and talented! His work is really beautiful and I highly recommend him to anyone searching for an excellent photographer! The quality and style of his photographs are also amazing!!! He shot a proposal picnic and he made sure to come early to make sure he could prepare himself for the best shots before the couple arrived. 10/10 stars! Hope to work with Joshua again in the future!

I could not be any more grateful for having Josh as my wedding photographer! He has an incredible eye for detail and composition, which drew me to reach out to him. My partner and I are incredibly awkward, but he made us feel so glamorous! He listened to any requests we had and was super easy to work with, and I was especially relieved at his professionalism when I was having a meltdown about budget haha. My recent lifestyle shoot with Josh was such a fun experience! He really has a refreshing sense of style in creating the type of photos we wanted to take and was very active & hands-on throughout the whole process. I needed a photographer for my graduation photoshoot about a year ago. I went on Instagram and searched for different photographers and Josh Chun's page stood out. I loved the type of photos he took and knew, I needed to hire him.
When I direct messaged him, he was very nice and so willing to work with my schedule. At the time I had never hired a photographer for anything. But, he assured me that I'd be fine and that he would tell me what I needed to do. He pointed out ideas on where to shoot and suggested ideas on what to bring to the shoot.

I've never written a Yelp review before. I didn't have a reason to, until now...
When my siblings and I planned my mother's recent 80th birthday party, our biggest challenge was coordinating plans from multiple locations (East Coast (D.C.), West Coast (L.A.) and Midwest (Ohio) and getting the best local collaborators to pull off our multi-day, multi-family reunion. We found photographer Joshua Chun through a Google search a couple months out. The decision to hire him was one of the best decisions we made.

My bf and I booked Josh to take pictures for our anniversary. He was OUTSTANDING from beginning to end, and kept all of his promises. Despite his busy schedule, he went out of his way to cater to our schedules because I live in OC and my bf lives in SD.
We chose to shoot at UCLA because I love the architecture there and I thought it would suit our formal attire. Also, it's free to shoot there. I asked Josh to take photos for my girlfriend and I after seeing some if his previous work and I could not be happier with the results! Josh really made the process simple and helped create an easy and fun environment to shoot in. He taught us a few poses and let us choose a couple locations and outfits too. Overall it was great working wish Josh, he was professional but also fun and easy to work with.

Josh is one of the best photographers I've worked with thus far. He is so easy to talk to, and instantly made me feel comfortable and at ease (which is important when some stranger is taking photos of you). His shots are beautiful, and I've already spammed all my friends and family with his pictures on my social media. I can't wait to shoot with him again! I love how he comes ready with a bunch of ideas for you, but is totally willing to hear your creative input as well. I cannot say enough good things about this guy and his photos!

Joshua was very professional, nice and went above and beyond to get the best locations & shots. He was also very quick at providing me with the final results, and was overall very concerned with my satisfaction.
Needless to say I'd wholeheartedly recommend him for portraits, & given how he handled my session I am confident that he has a bright future in professional photography

College graduation was a pretty big deal for me so I wanted to make sure that I was able to find someone I could trust to document this milestone in my life.
