Blue Soul Photo was officially established in 2013 and is located in the San Gabriel Valley, just a few miles east of Downtown Los Angeles. Our goal at Blue Soul Photo is to provide our clients with a pleasant and professional experience from start to finish - from quick email responses, flexible meeting times, fun engagement sessions, rated-G jokes for all ages, to Tide pens and sewing kits in our camera bags, and of course, awesome photos.
Not all clients are alike and every wedding is unique in its own way, so we do what we can to accommodate to every couple and their culture and traditions. At Blue Soul Photo, we understand that weddings are expensive. Little things here and there for the wedding start adding up quick, so before all of that happens, it's important to prioritize the most important expenses.

Wedding photography has evolved quite a bit over the years. With all the advancements of technology in digital SLR cameras, it has paved the way for new styles of wedding photos that are more edgy and artistic than the styles of yesteryear. Traditional wedding photography, high-fashion wedding photography, wedding photojournalism, and artistic wedding photography are four of the most common wedding styles in the industry today.

We have photographed many modern Chinese and Vietnamese weddings that have incorporated traditional tea ceremonies and love them. Experiencing tea ceremonies allows us to help couples who are a little lost regarding the details of this tradition. Danny and Geoff are a great duo to work with. I used Blue Soul for my engagement and wedding photos, and they went above and beyond to help capture these special moments for my wife and I perfectly.

The simple review is that Blue Soul Photography produces high quality work, quick turnaround, creative and just great people to be around.
They provided us the perfect mix of photos including photos you want/expect, surprising photos you never knew you wanted and provided a fun time doing it all.
Danny and Geoff did our engagement and wedding photos and they were amazing. I sort of wish I had them with me all the time to document my life from their point of view. It's nice to look that good in our photos all the time thanks to them.

For a wedding photographer, not only are you looking for a person with photography skills but you are also looking for a great personality - you will be with that person for many hours (especially if it is an Asian wedding, it can be up to 10-12 hours). My husband and I have never met such a passionate, creative and caring team of photographers. Danny and Geoff make you feel super comfortable and it was so fun just being around them. My husband and I had seen Danny's photo work first-hand in the import auto scene (I'm a 2013 Scion FRS owner) and knew we wanted Danny to be our photographer for our wedding day in November 2013.
I know, I know... this review is LONG overdue... we've had a baby since then, though, so at least I kinda' have an excuse... lol.
Danny was our main shooter and shot our girls getting ready and Doug was our second shooter and shot our boys getting ready until we all came together for the Vietnamese Tea ceremony at my mom's house.

Danny did an awesome job on my headshots for my new business. I use them on my website and other social media and depend on them to convey a good image to potential clients.
Danny was super accommodating during the shoot. He let me take my time to get comfortable in front of the camera, and was very patient with me while getting the exact lighting and poses I envisioned. The photographers of Blue Soul Photo are absolutely wonderful. Not only are they talented, but they are great to be around. During our engagement shoot, as well as on our wedding day, they made us feel comfortable and didn't rush us. This review has been way overdue!!! I am grateful that my family have had the pleasure of working with both Danny and Geoff. I love them so much that they have been our photographers since the beginning of my life's journey with my husband. Danny documented our engagement photos and wedding. My husband and I were expecting our first baby and had chosen Danny of Blue Soul Photo to do our maternity shoot. It is such a privilege to work with Danny. He not only did an amazing job on our photos, but he is had them edited for us within the week. Danny is not only extremely talented, but he is also very patient, funny, and responsible. We have had Danny from Blue Soul take photographs for both my kids' first birthday parties. He's always prompt and takes great photos. We trusted Danny to capture the best moments of these important milestones and the results were amazing. He can handle taking pictures of very active kids running around, which takes a lot of patience and skill.
