Positive: takes a ton of time to listen and evaluate your circumstances. Always readily available.
Negative: in my experience, despite paying a substantial amount of money, he never earned my trust. I came to him a broken man and he seemed more stuck on the fact that pure honesty was redemption. In my case, he refused to see me further unless I disclosed everything to my partner immediately that (I thought) I just had told him in confidence. If you’re searching for support in a time of despair, don’t expect support. Expect a lecture and judgement from someone who clearly thinks he has all

There should be more stars to highlight for Dr. Rad. This physician is the most incredible, sensitive, caring, thoughtful healthcare professional i have ever known. Dr. Rad will ALWAYS listen, ALWAYS research options for the best treatment possible, ALWAYS return phone calls and emails. Dr. Rad will exceed any expectation you may have because he DEFINITELY takes his oath to care and treat his patients with integrity, yet he is humble. He will praise you on your efforts to follow his treatment plan. You will feel like you are the most important person on the planet. I would go on and on, and i could

I do not recommend Dr. Rad. He was disrespectful towards me, not professional. More importantly, he will put you on medicines without discussing what type of medicine it is (SSRI vs SNRI), how it works or the side effects. We had conversations for 15 minutes or less ($150) and his treatment caused much more harm than good. I wish I had never begun seeing him.

I had an initial consultation with Dr. “Rad.” It did not go well. I liked my current psychiatrist but was advised by my therapist, whom I respect very much, to get another perspective. But he was unable to hear me. Anytime you have to go through a difficult emotional and psychological history that includes multiple traumas it is difficult. But when you do this, and the professional is unable to hear you, it is especially painful. I recommend not going to Dr. Rad. Not to mention, his price which is $475 for an initial visit is absorbadent.

This was the worst experience I’ve had with someone in the medical profession. I treated with disrespect and spoken to as if I was beneath him. If you are a female or have substance abuse issues - I would think twice before investing $350 for a 40 minute session with him (doesn’t take any insurance). He was more interested in testing my honesty than he was in trying to add anything of value to my situation.

I dealt with crippling anxiety and depression for years and I credit Dr. Rad 100% for getting me back to living a happy, healthy life. I went through several psychiatrists in the Atlanta area before I saw Dr. Rad; all of whom were cold and clinical. I get that psychiatry is not talk therapy but I appreciate that Dr. Rad understands when dealing with mental health, it doesn’t hurt to have a little heart and compassion. If something wasn’t working he never pushed it and he was never dismissive about any questions or concerns I had. I would recommend him to anyone.

Based on current professional constraints, I feel the need to say that this man, father and good listener HELPED me change my entire being. For a few years we truly disagreed, debated and had healthy conversations. At the end of the day, 17 years later my current state of being is because of the Doctor, a lot of work by myself, sincere spirituality and a lot of great friends!!!! Thank you Doctor R. Our time in Atlanta was quite valuable. Appreciate your sincere concern for me and my future. And yes, actually you were correct how it could all end!!! This is my first review.

I have been seeing Dr. Rad for over 12 years. He saved me from an anxiety/depression state I never thought I'd recover from. He traced my anxiety disorder to steroids I had received for poison oak treatment. The 3 times in my life I started with panic attacks were all after I had been treated with steroids. Each relapse grew incredibly worse. My last relapse 12 yrs ago was due to a vitamin D deficiency & menopause. My brain chemicals were definitely amuck. I do pay out of pocket for my care but in my opinion it's a worth absolutely every penny
I have a great doctor & it's important to have a great
