Cedar Cross Cooperative Preschool has been serving families in Snohomish County since 1986. Cedar Cross Cooperative preschool believes that parents are their child's first teacher, and a cooperative approach between families and school is best! We work with families to provide children a wonderful early childhood education based in play, focusing on social emotional needs of children, and learning socialization skills.
We have flexible in class parent scheduling (you sign up for the days you can work!), and no extra responsibilities! Once your enrollment has been processed you will receive an email with a personalized link to your family profile, class list's, and billing. Cedar Cross is an active church that is re-energized by the love of Christ.

Services
At Cedar Cross Cooperative Preschool we believe the work of children is play. Play develops independence, creativity, positive self-image and social skills. We strive to provide an environment in which children can learn through age-appropriate activities. To provide a Christian learning environment where the creativity and imagination of all children will be nurtured.
We are so fortunate at Cedar Cross to have such amazing teachers! They are kind, patient and caring and they are placed with the perfect age groups that fit their personalities and experience. They are an amazing resource for our parents and become so special to our children. Cedar Cross is an active church that is re-energized by the love of Christ.
Preschool is important because it promotes the social and intellectual development of children and their language literacy. Preschool offers a place where children can have a sense of community and enables them to figure out how to handle social conflicts. Teachers will help the children find a solution that is acceptable to all participants and offers an environment that offers opportunities for both cooperative and associative play.
Parents take an active role in their children's learning experience. This involvement is what leads to the close relationships that we build with the other families and children in our classes. We know that we are all in it together and that our experience is enriched by what we do for our children and our preschool.

Fabulous preschool! Very caring teachers. Offers classes for ages 2/3, 3/4, and Pre-K. Potty training is not a requirement. Held in Cedar Cross Methodist Church, so the pastor pops in for visits with the kids from time to time, prayers are sung over snacktime, and religious holidays are celebrated and learned more about. Parents are assigned on monthly rotational schedules to work in the classroom, and also required to serve on school committees ranging from cleaning to fundraiser planning, etc. The younger classes have a large focus on learning social skills key to child development.
