Dr. Monica Johnsonbaugh strives to provide her patients with the highest level of comprehensive eye care for the entire family. She graduated from Butler University with concentrations in Biology, Business and Spanish. She received her doctorate in Optometry from Indiana University, where she graduated with honors.
A thorough examination of the eyes at Focus 313 begins with a refraction using the newest technology available in order to precisely correct your vision. Your ocular health will then be examined using state of the art equipment to look for any eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, ocular allergies and dry eyes.

This is a great place if you are looking for modern and cool frames. In addition, Dr. Johnsonbaugh Is awesome! She took the time to work with me in choosing the right type of contacts. I have not had luck with contacts for many years. I am finally happy with the set she recommended.

I randomly stumbled across Focus 313 Eyecare when I found a perfect pair of purple and tortoise shell glasses that i know I NEEDED to have! I found out the brand was by an incredibly unique French designer, Anne & Valentin so I started searching for local distributors. I called 2 places and was told they no longer carried the specific pair I was searching for. I finally called Focus 313 Eyecare and spoke with Andrew who informed me that there was only ONE pair in existence since the designer is constantly rolling out new designs. Monica and Andrew are the congenial owners of this wonderful little eye boutique. Located conveniently in the village of Grosse Pointe, they are both very friendly and helpful. The boutique itself is beautifully and sparingly styled in modern reclaimed wood, metal, and modern furnishings. The eyewear selection is very upscale but they have matched prices for contact lenses because I prefer to buy local rather than online.
