I loved this place when it was Advanced Vison and I felt like I always got treated fairly with them and my VSP insurance. Seemed like a small family business. I usually got my eye exam and a set of glasses ( Oakley or Nike etc with transitions lenses) for about $30-40 total out of pocket with $10 of that being a copay for the eye exam. I do pay a fair amount for the eye insurance though but all in all I felt it was a wash and that I was using up my insurance benifit.

Walked out this morning before I even had a chance to see the doctor. The assistant is the older woman with horrible teeth. Rough around the edges and has an ATTITUDE with me every time I interact with her.
Today, I was nervous about the glaucoma test and she told me that I could NOT have an eye exam with the doctor if I did not let her perform the glaucoma test. When I said, "...then I guess we're done here", she changed her tune and said that the doctor could talk to me about taking the glaucoma test. Too late for bullying and intimidation. I told her to forget it.

I arrived just minutes before my 6:30 pm appointment, with my 1 yr old in tow. They were ready for me already, so they got me right in to be measured, tested and examined. This was my first time there, so the doctor asked for my history. Dr. Lichota was very thorough in explaining things to me as we were progressing through the appointment. He kindly and calmly put up with my toddler's wiggles on my lap while trying do my examination. He asked for my preferences in regards to contacts and offered up suggestions. Overall I was super pleased with the exam.
