I had an unfortunate situation where I was involved in an automobile collision over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Being from out of the area I had no idea where to bring my car. Some local people at the scene who were helping direct traffic recommended I use Monte's so I asked the tow truck driver to bring it there.
I am so happy that I got this recommendation. The guys at Monte's were so helpful. Especially since I have never been in an accident where my car was not drivable. They guided me in every possible way and helped me understand what to expect in the whole claims process.

I just had my Ram pickup repaired at Monte's. As usual the work they did was outstanding, on time, and on budget. Antonio was very easy to work with, he even pointed out another problem after I dropped it off which they fixed. I have had several opportunities to use their service and there is no where else I go for my auto body repair needs.

I highly recommend Monte's. They are true professionals and what is most important is you can trust them. That is so hard to find these days. They will make an assessment and give you options if there are any. They are up front about everything and will keep in communication with you. I hope I never have to see them again but if I do I will not hesitate to go back. Don't look any further - these are the guys you want working on your car.

I have AAA insurance and after a minor fender bender, AAA recommended a body shop in Santa Barbara. I drove all the way down there and they said they'd get back to me with an estimate in 48 hours. A week went by, two and then finally three weeks and nothing from the body shop! I figured it was time to choose my own body shop and Monte's came highly recommended.
I mostly worked with Dale but all the guys at Monte's were wonderful! So friendly and on top of things. They had the estimate to my insurance the same day and got approval immediately - which was especially impressive considering

Impressive service and professionalism! I live in Santa Maria and work at Vandenberg AFB. When the belly of my vehicle was recently damaged on Vandenberg AFB by a defective steel ballard cover that was bent and stuck open by the vehicle in front of me, I was determined to send my car to Monte's because of the raving reviews from my Lompoc friends. The competition didn't have a great reputation regarding customer service -- and I wanted both excellent body work AND customer service. Absolutely amazing service on my car which was backed into. Needed a lot done on the front including things such as a new hood, grill, headlight, paint, ect. In the end the front of the car looked basically newer than before. You would never know anything ever happened to it. Extremely friendly people and overall smooth experience. Very thankful.

Long story short, my friend and I were in Solvang on our way for some wine tasting when we got rear-ended by another car. My friends car's bumper was torn off along with a bunch if other damage.
Anyways, the tow truck driver dropped us off at Montes. Everyone is super nice there. They helped my friend call her insurance and get everything situated. They explained everything to her about what was going to happen to her car and everything.
Though I can't comment on the work they do, if they do half as good a job as they do taking care if their customers then I five them 5 stars.
