Angela Welsh Designs
When you celebrate a special event, you want to look your best. In fact, you want to look better than your best, because you know you'll keep the pictures forever. You'll enlarge them, frame them, display them, and share them. I'm Angela Welsh, and I specialize in designing hair, makeup and photographing your once-in-a-lifetime events.

As a professional stylist for 16 years, I've designed gorgeous updos for hundreds of special events, and I'm skilled at applying the right touch of makeup to enhance your inner glow and make you look great for the camera. I believe in forming long-lasting personal connections with clients, and my photographs reflect that philosophy.

Like many pre-teen girls, I didn't like the way I looked. When I was in second grade, I had cradle cap on my eyelids, which made them look yellow and crusty. I started wearing mascara to school, and the cradle cap went away. I got so much positive feedback that of course, I was hooked on mascara. I also started dancing at age 10, and we had to get glammed up for performances, which meant learning how to apply makeup.
My husband, Michael, and I bought our first professional-quality camera years ago, when I was competing in fitness competitions and wanted to develop a portfolio of the performances. One thing led to another, and soon, people were asking if I'd take their pictures. Because of my experience as a performer, I know how important it is to look your best in pictures, and not like some weird, distorted version of yourself.
In June of 2015, my husband, Michael, and I photographed the wedding of Jessica and Dan Nicewonger in Long Beach, WA. I could not be more in love with our wedding photos! I honestly had a hard time choosing pictures to display in our home because I wanted to show them all. I plan to print almost all of the 1,000 pictures we received for our wedding scrapbook album.
If you've had a family portrait taken, you've likely sighed in frustration at the results: Grandma's eyes are closed, Uncle Jim looks tipsy, and red-faced toddlers are bawling. I believe the photo shoot should be fun, and that it should capture real family moments in an environment where you feel relaxed.
Have you looked at yearbook pictures of your parents or grandparents and laughed at those stiff, formal poses where all the guys wear tuxes and the girls stare sulkily over the shoulder of a formal gown? I'm not a fan of those clonelike studio shots. I believe your senior portraits should capture your unique energy, personality, and style.

I have been seeing Angela for about 9 years now. I followed her from the previous salon she was at and now she has had her own salon for a few years now. The inside is super cute. I'm a blondie and and Angela knows exactly how to get my color perfect. I'm pretty picky. About 8 months ago she put tape in extensions in my hair. I LOVE them! I can't imagine life without them. Such a big difference and they go in and out very easily. I always highly recommend her and get so many compliments on my hair

What a great experience I had today at this lovely hair salon and spa. I drove up from Tacoma and saw the lovely Deanna Gadjos! She is well worth the drive. I went in to have some highlights touched up and I am in total awe! Friendly staff, clean stylist rooms, and family friendly. Go tomthismplace and you won't be disappointed.

I have been going to Master Stylist Deana Gajdos at Angela Welsh Designs for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier. Deana performed a makeover for me, and the results have been STUNNING!!! She changed my color and style and I now get compliments daily. The new style compliments the shape of my face, and the new color gives warmth to my skin tone! I look 10 years younger!!! My old style and color were so outdated and cold, and my previous tech hadn't done anything to recommend any updates in the years I had been seeing her. Also my hair always felt chemically damaged from the work

Angela keeps me blonde and my hair healthy! I've been seeing her since I was 16, now I'm 24. She is a good listener and does what you ask for. She is really knowledgeable about hair health and how different chemicals react with different types of hair. Even though I am always curling/straightening/bleaching my hair, it looks natural and is really healthy and long. I've seen other stylists who caused me to have to cut my hair short from damage. She has high quality products that are reasonably priced too. The salon itself is super cute and fun to go to. It is a treat every time I

I got introduced to Angela Walsh's salon through a Rue La La deal for lashes. I got my lashes done with Diane Lambo a month ago and they still look great. I have short and fine lashes which make it difficult to work with, but Diane did such an amazing job that my coworkers noticed immediately and complimented them. I love my lashes!

I have gone to Angela for 6 years, and love the work she does with my hair. She is consistently good (in the past, i could never get a consistent cut), and gives her recommendations about what she thinks would look good and work with your hair, but also listens to what you want. I have also gotten highlights done, and love them - she has a way of doing it that makes the grow-out not as obvious, which is wonderful!

Getting my hair cut is one of my favorite things, and i find it very relaxing. I like to be quiet when I'm getting my hair cut, and not talk a lot, but have also seen clients who
