David Elbaum has dedicated his professional life to the representation of individuals. After graduating with honors from Fordham University's School of Law, he began his legal career in 2000 as a civil rights and Constitutional lawyer. David honed his litigation skills at Greenwald Christoph P.C., a law firm founded by noted Constitutional lawyer and co-founder of The Intercept, Glenn Greenwald.
For almost ten of these years she served as the Administrative Judge for Matrimonial Matters on a statewide basis. During the maturation of the equitable distribution laws in New York and changing concepts of family and custody she was at the forefront of that development. During that time she was one of the most respected and honored jurists in the field.

When a litigant achieves a result from a court that is believed to be erroneous, (s)he has the right to appeal to a higher court. In New York, there are two appellate levels so that in certain situations one might be able to appeal the results of an appeal. This is called the appellate process.
