I'm traveling through Jacksonville and decided to purchase a bike. I found Lakeshore Bicycles online and decided to stop due to their website and 50 years in business. I was not disappointed! They not only had the bike I was looking for (TREK Verve 2), but everything else I needed, rack for my car, helmet, lights, kickstand, phone holder, and basket for my dog. One of the main reasons I keep coming back again and again to Lakeshore Bicycles is the courteous and knowledgeable people who work there. They listen to my concerns and go "above and beyond" to meet my expectations. Over the past 25+ years that I have lived in Jacksonville, I've purchased three bikes from Lakeshore Bicycles and I ALWAYS go back there for servicing. Absolutely fantastic bike shop! The staff are always very helpful. My wife and I have purchased 2 bicycles there this past year, and they steered us in the right direction with assistance, but not upselling or trying to add on things we didn't want. I highly recommend this place. There is a reason they have been around so long, and I hope they continue.

We have been researching Aventon electric bikes for some time, and learned that Lakeshore was a servicing dealer for the brand. Well, not only are they a servicing dealer, but they have the bikes there, in the store, fully assembled, for just about the same price as we saw online.
That was a surprise. But when you add to that the amazing, caring salesperson, owner, and even the shop technicians, now your talking about a real gem. We ended up buying the two eBikes of our dreams
