There is an incredibly technical side to becoming a dermatologist. Dr. Pamela Carr's journey began with earning (with honors) a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry at Auburn University, and a Doctor of Medicine (MD) at University of Alabama's School of Medicine in Birmingham. She completed her internship in internal medicine and residency in dermatology at Houston's University of Texas Health Center.
After passing stringent testing and personal assessment, Dr. Carr gained certification by the American Board of Dermatology. Over more than 30 years, she has built upon that strong educational foundation, adding layers of experience in emerging technologies, current medical concepts, and in specific areas of dermatology practice such as lasers, neuromodulators, and tissue fillers.

I saw Dr. Carr last month for a problem I had on my finger due to a visit to a nail shop. The entire office was super nice and made me feel very comfortable from the minute I signed in. Dr. Carr was also able to take care of my finger the same day, biopsy and all. Prices are very reasonable for a self-pay patient as well.
Millions of Americans struggle with a bit of resistant pudge. In the past, liposuction was the only effective treatment for spot reduction. Over time, non-surgical methods have evolved. Today, Dr. Pamela Carr offers SculpSure, the most advanced technology for non-invasive fat reduction. Everyone, no matter what kind of shape they're in, has pockets of stubborn fat that they just can't get rid of.

My brothers have gone to Dr. Carr for about a year now I think and every time it’s a great experience. She breaks down the cause and effect of whatever that is happening to your skin and makes sure you understand it from beginning to end. On top of that Linda at the front is alway ALWAYS nice. 10/10 would recommend this office to anyone that needs a good dermatologist!

Our entire family has been going to Dr. Carr for 30+ years. Her staff is terrific. We have trusted her with everything from pimples, fillers and botox to liposuction. She has done it all with unprecedented perfection. I had always thought I would never have ANYBODY do ANYTHING to my face. After 6 months of staying with my husband in intensive care and his passing, my face showed it all. I made an appointment, took a picture with me, and ask her to return my face to the picture. She did it!! Not much more I can say. 😊

Dr Carr was very patient, professional and caring. I saw her for cystic acne and she made me feel at easy, offered instant treatment plan which made me feel very hopeful. Very easy to communicate and her staff is great. Erika (her assistant) and Linda ( at front desk) both were very helpful. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, kind, knowledgeable and professional. I’ve had noninvasive procedures done and permanent makeup applied. I have been very pleased with everything and have had people ask me who my dermatologist is and who did my permanent makeup, and they were very happy too! I’ve been a patient for over 20 years and am often told I look 15 years younger than my age. I always give Dr. Pamela Carr, Cassandra and Erica credit. They do amazing work. I’m so glad I found these ladies in SugarLand Texas. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I love Dr. Carr. She is the absolute best. I have been coming here for over 30 years and I travel many miles to get there. I no longer live in the Houston area. I've tried doctors where I live and I always come back!! I told her no more experimenting for me - there's not a dermatologist out there that can replace her. The knowledge, time, and care she shares with her patients is just outstanding.

Charged full face price for treatment done on less then half a face! Been dr Carr patient for 2 yrs and even after she couldn't treat my cherry angioma I recommended her to a lot of people, and took my family members to her
I find it unethical to charge full price for half a treatment. To be derogatory towards your patients is even worse. Do not recommend

Dr. Carr and her team are the best to work with. They all genuinely care about you as an individual and more importantly about your experience and results. I've been seeing them to have my tattoos removed with their Picosure Laser, and the results are impressive. They make each appointment pleasant. Give them a call for ALL dermatology needs.

I love this place! I had permanent makeup tattooed on my eyebrows, eyes and lips. Cassie did a phenomenal job. I was so scared to do it because it's the face and I didn't want to mess it up but Cassie knows exactly what she's doing. She's done my mom and my aunts as well. I get compliments all the time on my makeup and when I tell them it's tattooed they can't believe how good it looks. She's really good about explaining everything and answering any questions you may have!!

On Nov. 7, 2016 I had permanent makeup on my eyebrows done by Cassie. She did a horrible job. They are very dark and harsh. Don't let her touch you. She agreed they looked bad. I would not go to this office for any permanent makeup. They would not return my money even though they agreed they looked bad. Don't go there for permanent makeup unless you want to pay someone else to remove the tattoo, which takes money and time. D. Robertson

I first went to Dr. Carr in 2013 on a recommendation for my adult acne. I never had an issue with acne until after I returned from studying abroad in China about 7 years ago. Since then, I get these random breakouts once a year or two and they're relentless when they come and they can get pretty bad. I don't like relying on medication since my acne is largely hormonal (so my diet and habits don't do much to them), but sometimes you just have to fight fire with fire - especially when I don't want permanent scarring the longer you try to wait it out. Plus, because I never had

My cousin recommended me to go here for my acne and keloids. I'm in my mid twenties and for the past year and a half I have been breaking out like I'm going through puberty! It has not been this bad since my sophomore year in college(late nights and ramen). My acne are usually quarter/dime sized that are very painful, sometimes little clusters across my face- I get them on my back and chest as well. I also have 3 keloids on my shoulders from acne scars, and white raised back acne scars!
My skin is a mess, but I've been going to Dr.Carr for about 3 months and my skin has cleared

I use to see Dr. Carr for my skin complexion-- I had minor acne and very little acne scars. I've visited Dr. Carr at least about 6-8 times. Dr. Carr is very friendly and informative.
At my previous visit with Dr. Carr, she had prescribed me an ointment for some Eczema that she was treating and she asked me to come back for a follow up appointment 4 weeks after so Dr. Carr could evaluate my skin and see how it was doing. Please keep in my mind that I'm a cash pay patient. I've never had an issue paying whatever the amount was at each visit to correct my skin condition.

I have been going to Dr. Carr for over a year now and she is awesome! She is very straight to the point and her staff is wonderful! I love Debbie, Cassie and Erica! They are very friendly!
The only reason why I am giving them a 4 star is because I had to wait for at least 20 mins in the waiting room a few times, then wait another 10 in the rooms. I hate waiting, and I make an appointment for a reason.
Other than that, my skin complexion and problem (cystic acne) has improved and I am going to keep coming until I see the final results I want!
