Preventive care and proper oral hygiene will set your child up for a lifetime of wellness. Dental sealant is a plastic coating painted on your teeth. It attaches to your child's teeth, smoothing the rough edges, depressions, and grooves that are typically found on teeth. It gives your child's teeth a protective coating, helping to prevent tooth decay and cavities.
Dr. Ashish Parameswaran received his Bachelor's degree in Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on for post graduate studies at the New Jersey Dental School (UMDNJ), where he received a degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.).
We're a children's dental practice in Greenwood who ONLY treats children, adolescents, and individuals with special health care needs, providing a unique dental experience for all kids. We offer a number of options for payment. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discovery credit cards. We also accept personal checks and can set up a payment plan for the cost of your child's treatment.
During your first visit, we review the patient's medical and dental history. Dr. Ashish will examine your child's teeth and depending on circumstances, a cleaning and fluoride application will be performed. It is also possible that certain x-rays may be taken. However, the most time will be spent engaging the child and the parents to put them at ease and answer any questions they may have.

Great for younger children, but once your child gets a bit older beware. They do not have hygienists that scale the teeth. The dentist is only one in that office who can scale teeth and I never saw it done once. And as my children reached teens we switched to Northampton pediatric dentists that have office in Greenfield and have hygienists that are licensed to scale and properly care for teeth. At Ashish office can only clean and xray.

My two boys have received absolutely phenomenal care, from Dr. Ashish and his entire team of professionals. He is incredibly thorough, and empathetic on all aspects. My 3 year old needed care under anesthesia at the hospital, and the care we received was incredibly compassionate and minimally traumatic. Neither of my boys, are fearful of dental care now, and feel comfortable visiting this practice. I cannot express, just how very thankful we all are, to have found such an incredible group of people, and such a wonderful dentist. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
