Neighborhood Plumbing was started in 2010 by owner Anthony Balu, a long time plumbing, heating, and air conditioning service technician of the Hudson Valley, and a local New Windsor resident. After over 15 years of loyal service with other service companies he decided to branch out on his own, and founded Neighborhood Plumbing, Heating & Cooling.
We're licensed in the City of Newburgh (license #108), along with reciprocations in Beacon and Poughkeepsie. Today was the third time in two months I used Anthony he was there on time his work was so perfect professional and when the job was complete my house was left spotless. he would not let me go a day without hot water. so glad I found him at a time when its hard to get help.i feel assured if my heat goes he will be here and not leave us in the cold

When my old sump pump started to fail in a rainstorm, I knew I needed a plumber who would:
1. Show up,
2.Solve the problem.
5. Not charge an arm and a leg.
I called Anthony, he had done work for me before. He came when he said he would, replaced the sump pump, and the price was fair. A day later Ida hit, but my basement only got a little wet, saving two furnaces and a water heater. I have a friend who is a plumber, but I didn't call him, he is not reliable. I know Neighborhood is.

Anthony, is extremely professional and response time is exceptional. He clearly understands the importance of responding. I am also in the service business so my expectations are high. Anthony is great at explaining what the problem is and most importantly explaining and itemizing the repair vs cost( most just hand you a bill). He is extremely fair and considerate when it comes to the final cost and looks for the best options for his customers. I have dealt with many folks in many types of service business and Anthony by far stands out to be on top. I have called on Anthony 4 times in 2 years and

I called neighborhood plumbing to for a new boiler install and was extremely happy with the work, price and overall experience.
