Mallo Camp & Motel is located in the beautiful Wyoming Black Hills, 18 miles north of Newcastle WY, and 4 1/2 miles east of the highway on Mallo Road. The grounds are located in the clearing of a scenic canyon with beaver creek flowing though it. A combination of modern and rustic buildings, the lodge, and cabins cover the grounds of our camp.

Mallo Motel is located in a wooded area overlooking the main camp. 16 rooms are available in the motel. Across from the motel are 8 rv campsites with electric hookups. The Black Hills offer a spectacular setting for a variety of recreation and relaxation. Mallo Camp provides the ideal place for summer camps, weddings, reunions, and all other types of events.
Services
Mallo Motel has 16 rooms. 9 queen and 7 double bed. We offer free WIFI, tv in the lobby and a free kitchen area. There is also a commercial kitchen available to rent, perfect for large groups and events. All rooms have bathrooms, and a handicap accessible restroom is available.

With the large lobby/community area, and two kitchens, Mallo motel is a popular destination for large groups such as reunions and snowmobilers looking for the perfect place to hold their event.
Mallo Camp has the facilities to host your next event. Available for rent June-September, Mallo Camp has been an annual destination for many groups. When you rent Mallo, you get the lodge, all cabins and everything on the grounds. Two fishing ponds are on site, one on the grounds that is children only, the second is just up the road and open to the public.
Mallo Trail 11 runs through the grounds and connects you to the entire Black Hills National Forest Trail System. Mallo is a popular destination in the winter months for snowmobiles. A large area is kept clear for parking across from the motel, and open to public parking. Located Just 1/2 mile from the Motel, Canyon Springs offers and excellent Steak House and Bar.

We were there for one of the best quilt retreats in the state. The motel is like traveling back in the 60s with my parents. Just needs some queen beds for 2 people. The people who ran the quilt fest are great. Just hope we don't get priced out of there.
