What a pleasant surprise opening the door. I love parking in front of my room. Classy porch decor to enjoy sitting outside. Very well updated and remodeled. Wes and Chloe you did a great job. The room is comfortable clean and has all the amenities anyone needs. It's off the beaten path but easy to find. I love the peace and quiet without all the lights and traffic. I believe in supporting local so we'll be back.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good water pressure and nice patios to enjoy the mild weather. I was here for a night, passing through on my way to Mt Rushmore and my car wouldn't start when it was time to leave. After getting towed and arranging repairs, I called them to see if I could stay another night while I waited for parts. No problem. They still had my same room and booked me right back in. I'd stay here again if in the area.

It is cute little hotel. Very quite. There was just a few things that could be done different or fixed. It was little confusing on where to check in at and it was really hard to find the hotel in the dark cause there was no light for the sign. Also the water pressure was way to hard it felt like I was being pressure washed. Other then that I would stay again.

Very friendly check-in process. Very unassuming exterior, clean and comfortable inside our room. **Bonus**we had reserved a room with 3 separate beds which was great for me, my daughter and son. Super clean bathroom/shower. Mini-fridge and microwave. Perfect spot for anyone traveling through. Safe and comfortable place to stay. Would definitely stay again!

We came in pretty late and we were able to call the number on the front door and get our code and room immediately. Chloe was very nice and took care of us. I always love going through WY and usually stop in the bigger towns but I was so happy we stayed here. Very charming and matter of fact place. Thanks for the room and hospitality.

I'm here writing this review to share in my experience and how I came upon the Sage Motel in Newcastle, Wyoming. I had just spent a fun filled day exploring incredible and extraordinary Devils Tower National Monument and was heading on the next step of my journey to the Black Hills of Custer, South Dakota. I figured before getting to the great sights of the Black Hills, I'd spend the evening in Newcastle and that's how I found the Sage Motel. From Devils Tower, It's only 75 miles to get here. Then from Newcastle it's a quick 37 miles to Wind Cave National Park, my upcoming

We were in town for my father-in-law's funeral, and there aren't a lot of choices in Newcastle for hotel/motels. Based on the number of good reviews online, we chose Sage Motel. When we arrived, the place was already not the way it looked online. There was a 5 foot table with junk on it and a bunch of dirty shovels and things right in front of the window of the room we were assigned - the only room available of the 12 they have. Inside the room, the bedding and the TV were new, but pretty much everything else was very dated in the room. The door had no way to lock it from the inside
