A Pre-karate program for children ages 4-6 years of age. This program is designed to be an age appropriate introduction to a classroom situation. One lesson per week will be offered. The curriculum repeats and rotates. The familiarity which comes from repetition helps build self-confidence in an environment where they can enjoy their introduction to Martial Arts.
Karate is often recommended as a way to help children and teens achieve greater social, physical, mental and emotional growth. As karate skills develop, a Child's self-confidence, agility, grace and attention span will be greatly increased. A positive self image will develop through karate's physical and mental training.

My son and daughter, now 13 and 15 respectively, have been training with Renshi Dave and his staff for over 8 years. My daughter at 14, earned her adult black belt June of 2018, my son is third degree brown and is looking to test soon.
The confidence and disipline they have achieved is unparalled. Personally, I can't thank Dave and Glenn enough for their support.

We had two kids going to this dojo for years - our daughter is a Blue Belt. our son achieved his Black Belt rank as an adult. What a great experience - amazing way to get in shape, learn self-discipline, and challenge yourself to achieve whatever goal you set for yourself.
The staff is very encouraging and supportive regardless of age and skill level. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to try the martial arts.

My boys have been students at Zanshin Kenjutso Kenpo Karate for over 2 years. The staff has had such a positive influence on our children. The classes have allowed them to develop their strengthening skills and physical ability, in addition to learning valuable lessons about respect and self control.
We have signed them up for various sports (teeball, flag football, etc) and this is the only one they haven't gotten bored with or complained about going to. We think highly of this dojo and the staff there. They are very patient, but engaging and effective all at the same time.
