Radiesse uses a filler made of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, providing the "scaffolding" necessary for the development of collagen. Kybella is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe fat beneath the chin ("double chin") by destroying fat cells. It is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment for this purpose. Kybella consists of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat.
Otoplasty is used to resize or reshape the ears. The procedure can also reposition protruding ears so they are in a more natural position closer to the head. This surgery can be performed as soon as the ears reach their full size, which usually occurs around the age of five. There are various techniques involved in otoplasty, and your surgeon will determine which one is most fitting for you.
