I contacted this company for a quote on replacing the piston on our unit. Miguel responded right away through yelp, questioned the replacement and wanted to double check the problem. He came out that same evening to give us a second opinion and confirmed that the piston was our issue, so he scheduled us for next day repairs. He showed up the next morning, replaced it, recharged the system and checked to make sure it was working correctly. When I asked him what caused the issue, he let me know that the previous company installed the wrong size piston. (Back story is that we had horrible service

My air conditioner stopped working suddenly, which made for an uncomfortable evening to sleep. The next day I googled hvac repairs and read reviews about several companies. I was in need of a second opinion after my home owners warranty had sent An AC repairman and he gave me a quote. So I looked on Yelp and found that Manual had very positive reviews. I call the company and Manuel answered right away he said he would be over within the hour and he was on time. Manuel was able to diagnose the problem and give me a quote of $300.00 less than the home warranty company. Manuel fix my AC and saved me $300.00!!! Manual was Professional quick and reasonable.

Manual did a great job replacing my AC. He started off my performing a thorough inspection of my old system, completely describing the issues with it and educating me on the costs and performance of several options for a new system. He had costs for several options with in minutes and after discussing all the options, I approved him to get started. He came the next week, on time and with proper help and spent the day replacing the inside and outside units. Manual and his guys were always helpful and professional and the AC is working great. I highly recommend Home AC repair.

I am writing this review to alert people from going directly with them when having issues with you ac as they are going to recommend you buy a new unit and spend thousands of dlls even when your ac is working in good condition.
I had an issue with my AC a couple months ago. The problem (as I described when i requested a quote) was that the water had overflown the emergency pan and water seemed to be leaking through mu cealing. A/C was blowing warm air on Saturday and after checking everything I knew to, I selected Home AC Repair based on the Yelp ratings.
They were great. My voicemail was returned within 15 minutes, and they gave me a 2 hour window for the technician to arrive. He (John) did so within 20 minutes of the start of the window and got straight to it. Within 45 minutes he had identified the problem, fixed it, tested everything else and was out the door. No up-selling or pushing for more work. Provided a 1 year warranty.

Pros: walked me through items on my unit that I need to do to keep it running smoothly. Very informative on things I could do myself. The technician had integrity and was straight forward explaining things they would do and a ballpark cost versus me handling the repairs by ordering online.

We couldn't be any happier. I am so glad we called Manuel. Our A/C went out in the middle of the night and we looked at Yelp reviews and he had 5 stars on every single review.
