Awesome park right across the Garner state park separated by the beautiful Frio river. We were here in late fall and still the colors and the reflections on the river were breathtaking. We were in spot 13 where we could pull in our class A, which gave us nice view of the river with cypress trees towering over the canyon. You can access the river from the park and water is super clear and should be a pleasure to enjoy during summer. Spots are nice and level with decent wifi coverage, absolutely no verizon , surprisingly tmobile was good.

This place is such a Diamond in the rough! Best views, friendliest staff, everything you could need at the on site store. They have LP refill station on site, firewood, ice, laundry, and a great selection of beer. Oh and cable hookup and high speed internet! What else could you need? We will definitely be back again. This was the perfect destination for our first RV trip. Even Harlee Ann has had a blast đâ đ

Amazing place, didnât get a spot at the state park so we tried this place. What can I say. Amazing, they gave us a great spot and we all-ready rebooked our next stay. Staff is very friendly and they have a great stocked small grocery store. This is the place to go with a RV if you want to visit Garner state park our just float on the river. Oh

We stayed here from Sunday through Wednesday in late August. Couldnât have been more pleased. The park is beautiful the bathrooms and showers were clean and well-maintained park staff was very friendly and accommodating. The river was just a short distance down the Bluff. We had a great time I would highly recommend this part anyone looking for an alternative to Garner State Park. Incidentally Garner is just on the other side of the river so youâre in the same water without the crowd.

I called in January about a spot for a week in July, since I had heard that rv campgrounds booked up early. I saw the good reviews for Parkview and they told me they only had spot number 68 available and I would have to take it for 8 nights. I paid the 50% deposit and had to pay the remainder when we arrived at the office for check-in on Saturday. We pulled to our spot and you can see the view from my camper and the small size of the lot. We called the office and asked if we could move somewhere else with a better view, since there were several empty sites around us. We were told they were full
