Divorce Help
During this time of social distancing, please know that we offer our services with online video conferencing. Please reach out to us with any questions. Whether the process has started or you are just contemplating divorce, matters need to be addressed: financial short and long term goals, parenting plan, paperwork or maybe, the possibility that the dissolution can be more peaceful via divorce mediation.

Divorce Help Family Law has been created with you in mind, no matter where in the process of divorcing you find yourself. Our goal is to provide you with answers and information every step of the way and assist you in those unsettling times. The notion that divorce might be the only way is scary and emotionally draining.

Jo-Ann Christine Little, CFP, CDFA, has been involved in the financial services industry since 1983. Ms. Little has worked over the years with Banks, Brokerage Firms and Credit Unions.
Because a divorce changes everything and is a difficult and painful decision doesn't mean every aspect of it needs to be a struggle and a costly process. Our mission is to offer divorce services no matter what your situation is, provide information no matter what your questions are and present you with solutions no matter the complexity of your case.
Have you both decided you want to reach an agreement through divorce mediation instead of battling it out with attorneys? Do you need some guidance as to what that agreement should look like? Are there children involved, so developing a Parenting Plan that works best for them is important? Is maintaining an amicable relationship with your spouse a priority?
Contemplating divorce is acknowledging something is not quite right in your marriage though bearing the hope that it can be fixed. Reaching that stage is gut wrenching as it equates to a sense of loss, generates angst and maybe guilt. Knowing or suspecting your spouse is contemplating divorce is just as damaging emotionally, with even less "visibility".
Divorce is an expensive endeavor especially if it is contentious or if you are not sure of what you're entitled to regarding your settlement. The average cost of a divorce per person in Southern California is $30,000.

If you are involved in a contentious divorce with conflict over assets, debts, income, and child custody a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst may be able to help you better understand the best way to divide your assets, debts and income.

Divorce is not an easy thing to go through, but if you want to get through the process as quickly, painlessly, and professionally as possible, then this is the route to go. The financial mediator was incredibly effective at helping us reach decisions on how to divide retirement assets and what spousal support / alimony should be. I also appreciated that all of the court paperwork was done in house by a paralegal who was very helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend you use Divorce Help if facing a divorce!

I have worked with Keeley and JoAnn for almost 4 years now and I recommend all of my clients who are trying to save money and settle their divorce to use their services. JoAnn can help you review what seems like endless and confusing financial statements and come up with the best, most creative solution to divide things fairly. Keeley is wonderful at helping clients who just need help with the complicated Family Court forms get what is needed before the Court so that parties aren't struggling in Court with what to say -- she will already have it properly formatted in writing for them! 100% - if

This is a very professional group. They have services available both for couples that wish to do divorce mediation, and individuals that need help at every stage of the divorce process. I really appreciated that they handled all of the court paperwork, filing, and service in-house, for a flat fee, so you don't have to worry about receiving a notice that your retainer has been drained and you owe more money if you want your case finished. I have watched a lot of friends go though litigated divorces and having Divorce Help assist you with your divorce is far less stressful and much more cost-efficient
