Mr. Werter is an exemplary example of what a seasoned well-versed technician should be. He answered my request within what felt like no time, and was out to me the following day. Once he arrived, after cleaning out my system, he quickly diagnosed that it indeed was the power supply that wasn’t providing the necessary conductivity to boot the system anymore. A new PSU was ordered, and within 48 hours, he was back and provided an immaculate re-wiring and cable management to my rig. He even threw in another 8GB worth of RAM to flesh out what’s considered a poultry amount, by today’s standards

Despite the appearance of the business, the technician is very professional and experienced in his field. He not only helped diagnosed the problem, but also suggested checking warranties on the pc before moving forward with the repairs. Werter was very professional and honest. I was going to have him to repair the laptop screen, but he said getting a replacement laptop is actually cheaper than repairing it. I have talked to a few technicians, they all just gave me a quote. None of them actually told me that the price of getting a replacement is cheaper than repairing it.

Werter was very responsive when I had a question about why my laptop did not appreciate coffee as much I do. Not only did he respond quickly, he was honest about my options and estimated costs. It is rare to find an IT expert who will be upfront about low cost ways to fix a problem. My PC upgrade did not go as planned and I needed help diagnosing the problem. I called half a dozen computer repair shops in the DMV area and none of them wanted to help me. Had a real problem with my desktop pc, it stop and would not even power on. Was in panic mode when I found V-TecProStop through another website. Immediate response, within ten minutes of my help posting. After a few chats through the website app helping me work through the problem my computer came back to life. Total time for fix three hours and he only charged me half price because it was done remotely with his instructions.

Honestly, this could not have been an easier experience, which was wonderful considering the stress I was under to recover files from a 'dead' CPU. Prompt, courteous, even funny! They worked quickly and efficiently, they explained to me what was happening and they did not mind my hovering to watch and try to learn! When the files I needed didn't show up the first time, they went back again with no complaint and worked until they found the "hidden" files. I will absolutely call them again and I will absolutely recommend them to anyone I ever hear of having computer problems
