A beautiful little town on Columbia River, where the Umatilla River runs through to meet the mighty Columbia. The McNary Dam spillway, Bridges, Parks, Marina and Vineyards adds beauty to this high desert country town. Umatilla and its surrounding area is well known for hunting ducks, geese, pheasants, quail, dove and chucker.

If you are looking for a place to satisfy your fishing needs then Lake Wallula is the spot for you. Hat Rock State Park, located off U.S. Highway 730 nine miles east of Umatilla, lies on the south shore of Lake Wallula behind McNary Dam on the Columbia River. Bookwalter Winery has something for all your senses.

Floors never look vacuumed, the maids are extremely lazy when it comes to cleaning, if you are in your room when they arrive they will ask you if you need anything. I asked for my room to be cleaned with clean sheets and towels and the maid handed me my sheets and towels and expected me to do their work because I was present in my room. Started getting red itchy bumps on my body and eventually found BEDBUGS in my BED. I've been here since April 2017 (my husband travels for work) and this is UNACCEPTABLE. No refund or discount was offered, just moved my baby, husband and I NEXT DOOR to our

Dirty. Showed photos below to receive some sort of comp for not being able to shower and woke stuffed up! Bugs and dust.... was able to receive a 10% military discount .... I am a veteran and didn't receive it in the first place... memorial day weekend too... I wouldn't recommend staying until you check the room. To each their own.

Not bad, fairly clean, dated, price could have been a lot leaner for the quality. Not too many options, so would go back, but it was not horrible.

If you want to support a local family owned business and stay in a clean and comfortable room, this is the place to go. Its definitely nothing fancy, but not much in Umatilla is. This is a perfect place for hunters, fishers, truck drivers who are looking for a quiet and clean place to rest. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. They seem to appreciate their customers and even hold BBQs for their annual customers during peak season. The rooms are basic but roomy. They also give you an option of having a stove or not. The fridge is very useful as some places make you pay for a fridge or

Not for a mom with 3 softball players. It was clean and roomy, but very old. Our unit had a good sized fridge and microwave but NO frills. Beds were very uncomfortable. The units varied. We were with a group and three rooms were much the same, but the "suite" was hideous! The a/c unit was literally falling out of the wall. If i'd have known all this ahead of time I would not have stayed there.

But, for a bunch of guys hunting, it would be adequate. One of the kids I had with me said it reminded them of a hotel you see in horror movies. She hit the nail on the head, so I

The owners have been running this place since 1994. They take care of the rooms as if they were sleeping in each one. The owner is always doing some sort of renovations on the rooms so they try to stay up to date. It's definitely a family-run business, and you have to appreciate that fact. Long time clients will have gotten to know the entire family. The staff is very friendly. The establishment is dog friendly too! Great for hunters and fishermen. And is located right in the heart of Umatilla, so you don't have to trek too far to go somewhere and you can avoid drunk driving!
