Chef Yvonne has spent over 25 years perfecting her craft, exhibited by the unique blend of flavors and culinary styles in her cooking. Yvonne's story began in her grandmother's kitchen, where she learned to make traditional Middle-Eastern dishes that had been passed down through the generations.
Since childhood, she has never strayed far from the kitchen, training under notable chefs across Chicago, building a catering business and eventually opening her first restaurant in 2002.Yvonne then made a move to California and established Reverence, first as a creative catering service for the Bay Area, and now with a cafe outpost in Los Gatos.

Chef Yvonne and her team are simply amazing. We are so appreciative of the thoughtfulness, creativity and TLC that went into planning a friend's special birthday dinner. Chef Yvonne, Sous Chef Jonathan, Claudia and Rosa thought of everything - and took care of every detail throughout the evening. Each course was better than the last -- the crowd was raving! It made for a very memorable evening - we can't wait to do it again!

I cannot say enough great things about Reverence, Chef Yvonne and her team! They have been getting super creative in light of Covid and my husband and I have loved the weekly specials. Perfect for Sundays when we don't want to cook! Not to mention how delicious the Paella was last week, looking forward to trying the Ribs this week :)

"Chef" Yvonne is a home cook with knowledge & skill far below the average culinary pro - hence only platters and displays. Her fear of being discovered as such makes her compensate with manic bravada and megalomania, leaving a trail of unhappy employees & failed plans.
I was friends with her for over 5 years before (literally) finding the locks changed one morning -- after moving from San Diego to help grow her company. You will find her personality initially appealing, but in extended relationships she will prove herself rigid, a know-it-all, and completely unwilling to be accountable to others

We had another spectacular dinner tonight! Ordered from Reverence's "pop-up menu," which features different types of foods each week. Tonight, the menu was "when in Rome," and we ordered bruschetta (an order consisted of our choice of 5 different types). It was amazing!. We also had polenta, which was so creamy and delicious. We had an order of steamed mussels that were in a tomato garlic and butter sauce. Super scrumptious! Dinner was not only delicious, it was also so much fun. Reverence has earned my highest recommendation!

I've been getting family meals for my family from Reverence for the last few months and they are absolutely amazing! Our favorites are the seabass and pork meals and even my picky kids agree that they are delicious. We've also tried the pop-up meals that are offered on Sundays and they do not disappoint!
Recently I ordered a gluten-free meal for a friend with Celiac. Chef Yvonne was so accommodating and was kind enough to make the meal in a separate kitchen to ensure no cross-contamination. My friend tested the food with a gluten sensor and it passed, so no doubt they were very careful

Reverence Catering was responsible for providing meals for the nurses @ OCH ICU & Dialysis, yesterday. Courtesy of a friend of one of the nurses, that works for Uniphore Software Systems. The pre-made trays were delicious, portions were more that sufficient for on e person, & their menu were great. We had soup bowls, salads & pasta & chicken dishes. We are truly grateful to both Uniphore, for the donation & Reverence catering, for the meals.

We ordered two family pack meals for pick up and loved the food! The sea bass was buttery and flaky, the raviolis were delicious, and the garlic bread was fresh and tasted amazing. The portions were generous and we were really happy to have a great meal that just needed some heating before serving. My children were really happy with the meal, which made me happy - there was something for everyone. We love Reverence Catering and will definitely be ordering more meals to go in the future.

I hired Yvonne for our company party (which fed about 70 people) and it was AMAZING. I'm a foodie, and also a photographer so I took notice in her set up and the variety she had offered. It was delicious, and everyone took some home.. and I mean by the handfuls. She set up an entire bar station that served beer, wine & 3 cocktails that our clients were all raving about. Her workers were so sweet, set up all the tables and cleaned up after we made a mess, and even packed away our food for the next day. I can assure you that all food was cooked properly! I would 150% hire Yvonne again for

Food is DELICIOUS! We have enjoyed lunches from Reverence Catering on multiple occasions and each time is better than the last! Not only do you get treated like family but Yvonne and her squad really care about putting out great food and it shows! Wow! I cannot say enough great things about Reverence Catering and about Yvonne! They catered our company event, and everything was perfect! The food was fresh and beautifully presented, but most of all, amazingly delicious!!
Yvonne was so friendly and very flexible and easy to work with. The whole event went very smoothly. I cannot thank Yvonne enough and I highly recommend her to everyone!
