I have never written a negative review in my life but I am truly at my wits end. I spent the last year living in Trumbull House and my experience with Center City Properties has been nothing but frustrating. We continually struggled with contacting anyone at CCP after we moved in. They were extremely responsive when we were in the process of signing the lease, but after they got our money it was like they no longer cared. It took several emails and phone calls to get a single maintenance issue address. It took them over a month to address a leak that was coming from our ceiling and dripping dirty

This is only regarding trying to view their available units and schedule a tour. No one answers the phone and it is like pulling teeth to email back and forth asking about their available units, which they also say is not up to date on their website. Really poor communication. Unfortunate as some of the properties look great. Just not worth the trouble. Going elsewhere to lease.

I've lived at The Auburn for several months now and have been very happy with both the apartment and Center City Properties. The whole experience of finding the place, moving in, even maintenance has been pretty painless. Working with Lamus to find a good apartment at one of their properties was great too--I was moving sort of last minute from a non-Center City apartment that wasn't working out, and Lamus was super helpful in finding a good fit.
The Auburn itself is a really good community as well and the apartments are pretty good quality for the price. The building is always clean and there

I have lived at The Plaza for the past year and a half and it was the best living experience I have had in Detroit. The property manager, Deidra, was always a joy to deal with and was always extremely helpful and available if we needed something. This is also one of the nicest apartments I have seen in all of Detroit and is a very affordable price. I would highly recommend The Plaza.

Huh. I am surprised by the negative reviews because that has not been my experience at all. We are on our second property in four years and the managers The property managers have always been reasonable and responsive whenever there has been an issue. We have even needed to call them on The Weekends and have always received help in a timely manner. I can only speak for my own experience but have been very satisfied overall.

After previously dealing with one nightmare apartment after another in this city, I am so happy to have found this company. If you want a quality living space with a management team that is quick, polite, responsive, and who actually cares about you, Center City Properties should be your top choice.

Watching my friend communicate with the mangagement company has been horrendous. He’s been without air conditioning for 2 weeks now......it’s 88 degrees in here. I don’t know how anyone pays top dollar and for type of service in midtown.

I live in 122 West Willis and pay premium rent for a unit that includes air conditioning, but I’m going on my second week without it during a heat wave. It doesn’t seem that anyone at center city properties cares about the the living conditions right now. It’s uncomfortable, sticky, and hard to breath. We are going on week 2 and they STILL don’t have a definite fix date. I don’t think we are being unreasonable with the request of a portable AC unit, but they denied that request. Their team isn’t showing the slightest of sympathy or effort to their tenants- that have been more than patient
