Our classes are not choreographed with complicated dance routines. Each class is totally different & tailored to the clients in the room. Our classes are form focused with individual praise & corrections throughout the class. We want to make sure you stay injury free, get the most out of each class, & further your technique.

We strive to create an atmosphere that challenges your body in new ways while leaving you relaxed afterward. We don't give that title to just anyone. All of our instructors have undergone intensive, multi-day training plus an apprenticeship before receiving their certification to teach and join our team of "Barre-Tenders."
All of our classes are form focused, ensuring you get the most out of each workout & minimize the risk of injury. Whether it is a cardio fusion or our classic Barre Basic class, your instructor won't be doing the entire class. She will be making sure that you are practicing safely & effectively! Based on your schedule and interest, we have a variety of membership and session packages to choose from.

First time clients can expect to get a great workout and will likely have muscle soreness all over. You may even be sore in places you have never felt before! I've been attending this studio for 6 months. When I started Southern Barre, I was in a fitness rut. I hadn't worked out regularly in over two years. While a generally "active" and healthy person, my cardio fitness and strength levels were low, and I was intimidated to get back into it. I chose this studio based on reviews of the encouraging and positive atmosphere – those reviews are true! I felt very comfortable being a beginner here. Finally, I've found my yoga studio! After trying out many classes all over the area, Southern Barre introduced me to their Yoga Flow practice. Their specialty is Barre, yet I've attended many specialty classes such as Tap N Power and Barre Boot Camp. However, Yoga Flow is my definite favorite by far. Calli's classes are challenging, yet comforting, and she always pushes us to try just a bit more and strive for constant improvement. You'll love her spirit and care for her classmates, which is why I keep coming back.

I've never been athletic or had a gym membership in my life, so I was nervous about going the first time. I'm so glad I did, though! The instructors are so helpful in showing you what to do and how to do it. They present a variety of options for each exercise so that you can work out at your own level.

If you are looking for a full body workout to tone and strengthen, Southern Barre is the place for you! The instructors are committed to helping clients be their very best. I love the positive and encouraging environment they create. I have seen great results, but more importantly I feel strong and healthy!

I've been working out here for about 5 months. When I first tried the studio workouts I was struggling with planter fasciitis and had been feeling really limited in what I could do - this turned out to be an amazing solution. I have gotten stronger, more flexible, and leaner while at the same time giving my foot issues time to recover. Every instructor leads with positive encouragement to challenge oneself. I am so grateful for the progress I've gained at Southern Barre Fitness.

I can't say enough positive things about Southern Barre Fitness and the instructors there. I have been attending classes for about two years and it has truly been my studio for change. Southern Barre has changed my body and refreshes my spirit every time I attend. The staff are all knowledgable, motivational and want to see everyone succeed. The community Kimberly has created is one of body acceptance and positivity. My back no longer aches and I have muscles I haven't seen since high school. I am loving Southern Barre! The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. Each class if challenging but people at all fitness levels can benefit from the workouts. I've always done HIIT or cardio workouts on my own so this is completely different than anything I've ever done. I look forward to each class!
