I obtained my undergraduate degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a major in theater and a minor in journalism and mass communication. I received my post-baccalauereate credits from Mills College and my medical training from the University of California San Francisco. I completed my psychiatry training at San Mateo Behavioral Health and Recovery Services.

I work with you to bring forth your lesser known and understood thoughts, feelings and motivations that trip you up in life. The goal is to diminish their intensity and meaningfully change your most troublesome life patterns so that you can live, love, work and play more fully and freely. From this core approach, whether in therapy and/or with the use of medications, I work empathically, integratively and collaboratively.
Psychoanalysis is a way of making meaningful, lasting change in your life and your experience of self, your relationships and your world around you. Through allowing your mind to freely associate, together, we can discover meaning and understanding where it was unknown. By utilizing the therapy relationship, outside struggles and patterns become apparent and are worked through so that you can live a more fulfilling life.
