This is to inform you that the steroid injection on friday is working with great results. With the very succesfull knee surgery and hip injection, i can now walk normally and wthout pain. I've been a patient of Dr. Spiegel and Dr. Nicholson for many years. Dr. Spiegel reconstructed a crushed heel two years ago (amazing) and Dr. Nicholson with my off and one knees issues. As of late, Dr. Nicholson and I agree it is time for a partial knee replacement on one knee. Dr. Bharara is the complete package. He is an excellent Practitioner who possesses great communication skills and a positive bedside manner. Dr. Bharara is by far one of my favorite physicians! He is kind, patient and very informative about my injury. He doesn't just rush you to get procedures done to make money, he actually makes a plan with you to try physical therapy first, and gives his patients ample time to complete physical therapy before moving forward with any other procedures. Text from Perimeter Orthopedic Atlanta. I'm 4 weeks post rotator cuff surgery & have an appt. tomorrow. I got a text saying that I have a balance (it's $11.00) BUT IF I COULDN'T PAY IT, THEY WOULD RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT. What kind of business does that to a patient? Understand they have to make money but couldn't this be communicated differently? An all around bad experience. The doctor was in a rush asking me why I came in for a consultation. He spent maybe 2 minutes asking me some generic questions, examined my leg, and gave me a diagnosis. He then told me to read about the condition on the text that they would send me and walked out. His lack of respect when talking to me also rubbed me the wrong way. Because of this I wanted to wait to schedule the follow up appointment and told the front desk that I would call to set it up. The staff here is fantastic. Dr. Nicholson is easy to talk to and goes into detail about your injury and the process for healing.
Rachel in physical therapy is the BEST. She helped with my horrible back pain. I hate needles, but she talked me into dry needling since I couldn't get the tension out of my muscles. I'm now a firm believer in dry needling therapy. I'm scared to go to anyone else because she has a way of keeping me calm during the not so comfortable process.

Dr. Spiegl has saved my R ankle and been amazing ! His entire team is unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable and stay on top of keeping your bones healthy and well. Came here for a knee issue that cropped up in the past few weeks. I scheduled this appointment through ZocDoc app and filled out all the paper work virtually ahead of my visit. And even processes the copayment. Pretty neat!
I was seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment which was very good judging by some of the earlier reviews on punctuality.
I saw Victoria Seng, Physicians Assistant, who asked me about my problem and then had the radiologist take x-rays before speaking with Dr Nicholson for my orthopedic consultation. Thankfully the x-rays looked good.
The next step was to schedule

Warning!! I just received an email (6/7/19) stating I owed $277 for an appointment I had almost TWO YEARS AGO (8/24/17). When I called to inquire about it I was told they had had trouble with billing and they were by law allowed to bill up to 6 years later. WHAT?? Crazy that the insurance company which we no longer have would not cover it!! Not very professional AT ALL! I would be very embarrassed Perimeter Orthopaedics.

Did not have a pleasant experience here. Doctor was arrogant and degrading when I tried to explain my problem. I told the doctor my previous experiences with my back issue and that my condition was a difficult one to pinpoint and address. He just got offended when I tried to explain to him all these things because "he was the doctor". Will not go back.

This is an update of my current condition and to my previous post. After getting the cortisteroid injection 12/28/15 initially my knee improved however that lasted for a week. I will be making an appointment with Dr. Nicholson to see what other avenues there are to eliminate the severity of pain I continue to have. Due to the lack thereof bedside manner, he'll probably recommend a second round of injections. I believe that he is discounting the severity of pain due to an underlying condition I have and not hearing me and my cries concerning the pain that I am experiencing, I can barely walk

The best doctors and Physical therapist in Atlanta. I went to Emory, Peachtree Orthopedist and physical therapist and everyone claimed nothing was wrong with me. However, I had constant pain in my neck. Dr. Nicholson shows patience with his patients, they discovered I simply had trigger points in my neck. After, three weeks of physical therapy at THEIR office Im feeling better than i have in a year. Need an orthopedic doctor? Choose Perimeter Orthopedic first!
