Freedom Orthopedic is a novel, third-party free orthopedic practice. It has eliminated the middle man- health insurance and government payers- in order to focus entirely on the patient. Patients get undistracted attention, leading edge orthopedics at a transparent, affordable all-inclusive price. Frustrated by the distractions, costs and waste of the standard medical system, Founder Thomas Joseph, MD decided to take a different path.
Freedom Orthopedic is built on one simple principle: To offer our patients world-class orthopedic care at the most affordable cost available. We do not participate in the insurance racket or Medicare/Medicaid so we are able to bring you superior orthopedic care at a fraction of the cost of an insurance doctor.
Initial Orthopedic office visit - All inclusive care includes, splint, cast, injections, etc. The quoted price includes surgery facility fee, anesthesia fee and the surgeons fee. You should not receive additional bills from our office or the surgery center. It also includes up to 3 months post operative care in the office.

I don't have traditional health insurance, we belong to a share ministry called Christian Healthcare Ministries, so we are constantly looking for good self-pay options when it comes to doctors. Freedom Orthopedic is just that. Dr. Vaughn is an excellent surgeon and it is well worth the drive from Atlanta for us to see him. If you need orthopedic care and you either dont have insurance or like us you use a share program, this is a fantastic option.

I met with Dr. Christopher Vahn on July 18 I had my meniscus knee surgery done on July 19 could not be happier with Dr. Vahn and the complete staff at the Stevens County hospital ! I would highly recommend all of my friends and family if they find their self a need for a great orthopedic surgeon with a compassionate staff this is definitely a great place to go and was also very reasonable .
! It was a little out of the Way since I live right outside of Savannah Georgia but it was certainly a lot less to Pay !
