Bear Mountain provides neuro-rehabilitative services to individuals with acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury, and/or a number of other neurological/organic conditions.

The specialized services available in Timberlyn's Neurobehavioral Rehabilitation program include neurological, neuro-rehabilitative, and neuro-psychiatric services, as well as intensive behavioral management and treatment services necessary to promote recovery, improved quality of life, and, if possible, transfer to a less restrictive, community-based setting.
Bear Mountain at Worcester is a specialized skilled nursing facility. We are often a transitional step between hospital and a traditional skilled nursing and rehabilitation unit. Our team is experienced in providing care for medically complex patients who may need respiratory rehabilitation and ventilator support.

I'll begin with something positive. This building's ombudsman is now on my contact list. You know who you are and many thanks for you for intervening and truly helping me- including this morning. I agree with the many negative reviews of this imitation of a nursing home. Unfortunately, I'm still a resident here and I'm awaiting group home placement.
If you like overwhelmed staff across many discipline- especially nursing, (how scary is that) then this place is for you. If you enjoy a former director of nursing (and I mean very recently "former") who says one thing in front of

I am a patient here. This place is filthy, and there are mice. The shower room is disgusting, and they place the trash bins in there. I have observed them throwing patient clothes away with dirty diapers. They do not use proper hygiene protocol at all. Many patients are half naked, and many are not washed or taken out of bed. Stay away from this place.

Poor nursing , little communication, bad attitudes . cna's run the show and decide when patient' s get changed ? = bad bed sores. Pulled out trachea tube causing e.r. trip. Care plans are a joke. Will do all I can to get my friend transferred. Will make a formal complaint to medicare.

A dear friend of mine has been living at Wingate at Worcester for a few years. After transferring from another facility, a great deal of us were hopeful that this institution was going to be able to care for their patients with a higher set of standards than the previous place.
Unfortunately that has not been the case. There is a lack of regard for basic human needs amongst management and patients are being denied things as simple as having their teeth brushed, being kept clean, having regular baths, being offered food and being gotten out of bed. This coming from a viewpoint in which family has
