Services
There is a communal kitchen for all our guests in motel units and cabins to use to make meals and coffee! All Prices Plus applicable taxes except housekeepers rented by the week. In July and August, housekeeping cabins are rented weekly, Saturday to Saturday. Additional Person Rate: $10 per person/night, or $50 per person/week (regular room rates based on 2 guests in motel units & cabins, 4 guests in housekeeping units).
Being in the heart of Dude Ranch Country - riding is very popular. Saddle horses may be obtained nearby. There are also great bike routes and hiking trails in any direction. Golf courses are located in Lake Luzerne and Lake George which are open to the public. It is a thirty minute ride to Saratoga Springs to see the best in thoroughbred horse racing.

What a wonderful place to stay, free boat usage and there are lots of fish, although mainly sunfish. The rooms are pretty basic but they have everything you need, and very clean. There's a little beach, and the water temperature is bearable, but can get cold. Exploring the lake is really fun. They have a shared kitchen stocked with all the essentials. Owners were super friendly. Would visit again, and highly recommend!

Duplex style cottage. Very thin
walls. Couch is probably older than I am and very uncomfortable. Beds are not the most comfortable either. Decor is very shabby, and cabin in general is in need of attention. Listing gave the feel that each cabin would be close to the water with a view...that was not the case. Our cabin was farthest from the water and next to a road. Several other visitors driving right in front of our door to get to their cabin. Upon checkin was told that the paddleboats were "out of order", however saw people on one our last day so we waited and used that one with no issue. No

Peaceful , great place to take your family . The lake is beautiful . The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating. This is are go to vacation place in NY . The rooms are clean and theres even a small kitchen to use if your rent a cabin with no kitchen . The rates are reasonable. They book quickly so we reserve a year ahead of time. People are friendly . Small park for the kids . Not far from the town of lake george . Very cozy .

Margaret and Martin are wonderful , kind people ! I recommend if you have chronic pain to bring your bed topper for comfort . The mattress was older and uncomfortable. Margaret went out and bought a light mattress topper which I found so considerate . My husband and I ended up getting a 2 inch foam topper and then I was fine ! The lake is beautiful, and we had fun swimming etc . The room was clean and acceptable! Bring things your used to at home, and if you expect updated Decorations this is not it, but we found it suitable , and quaint ❤️We will visit again !! Thank you Margaret and Martin

Getting two stars only for location. Place is old nothing have had change since last year. Bathroom leaking wall is leaking as it was last year (we stay in the same rental) place is dirty, no effort from owners to keep up maintenance.
Location is great, lake view, space for kids to play but even the swing set and slide is old and needs upgrade.

I love staying at this hotel right on Lake Veneer. I swam in the lake every day. at night we had campfires. Great place. I loved it because there weren't that many bugs like mosquitoes which always attack me. It's only a quick 10-minute drive from Lake George Town. Highly recommended. It was my second time there and I will continue to go there.
