I've been coming here for years now, and I can honestly say that the staff and owner are outstanding. The facilities are immaculate, and the location is excellent. This is a great place to stay if you have kids. Just wanted to get away from the city for a few days. This place was the perfect retreat.

John and Eileen Kim fell in love with the Adirondack Mountains and the beautiful resort town of Lake George. They decided to move to Lake George with their three young children in 1989, soon after which they purchased the Lyn Aire Motel in 1991.

The check in was quick, easy & polite. Room was adequate. Hot shower & an in-room fridge/microwave. Pool is heated with a fun little waterslide. Suggestions 1) They should have a coffee maker in the room. 2) Covid is over. Breakfast should now be offered.
PS - To you idiots who leave 2, 3 & even 4 star reviews, I find it very mean spirited of you. It’s a small business. Give them a break.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Easy to find, great location. We reserved one room, two beds. The rooms and grounds are well maintained and clean. The pool was heated, gazebo with games was a nice touch! Staff are friendly and attended to any concerns/needs immediately. We needed to swap out towels and needed some support with remote control for the tv and it was addressed quickly. Great stay and convenient to both the village and gas stations/stores!

Everything was sparkling clean. Shower was super hot excellent pressure. Staff were excellent. The pavilion with foosball,air hockey and table tennis was an excellent touch especially for my son who was a bit too big for the playground. There is also basketball hoops available and it was wonderful to see people out using this stuff in this electronic age.

The Motel is very nice and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable! TV is very nice and The Beds are really great! Very close to the Village only 5 Minutes away! Making it very easy to see Lake George! I stayed here 3 years ago but forgot to leave a review so I am now! I know it's been awhile but I certainly enjoyed my stay! Air Conditioning felt great and was nice and powerful! Nice Mountainous Views from the balcony!

1) when we first walked in the smell was overpowering, like they had sprayed Lysol all over everything. We almost left then.
2) ac beeped off and on all night; buttons are squashed in so it’s difficult to adjust.
3) pool hours are 9am to 9pm. No lifeguard. Quiet people should be able to swim earlier and til about 10pm.
4) there was only a little bit of TP on the roll. No additional rolls were around. There was a tissue box.
5) the mattress was a little board like for me. I like a bit of cushion.
6) they want you to drop the key off at the desk before you leave, but it didn’t open

My family stayed for two nights labor day weekend. First impression was great- property manager was very friendly and the grounds were clean. They are doing some type of construction at the time but it was still neat and orderly in the other areas. The pavilion with air hockey, ping pong and foosball were a nice touch. There are grills scattered about the propery for use which is always nice to have that option of grilling some steaks or burgers.There was also a playground for the kids and a couple basketball ball hoops. Our room was spacious. The kids enjoyed playing all the games and sliding

Great Service! Cozy place. Couldn't have been happier, we booked last minute and we were pleasantly surprised with how clean and well maintained the rooms were. We also had to check out earlier than expected since my cat got sick. They were very accommodating and kind about it. They also recommended some places in town to eat, which we were extremely happy at each place. It was hospitality at it's best. It wasn't too fancy and it didn't break the budget so we were able to spend a little extra elsewhere.
