Henry is General Manager of both Capital Funeral and Cremation Society of the Carolinas and has been with us for over 10 years. With over 25 years of Funeral Service experience, his knowledge and diverse experience provides many options to share with families. Along with two children, he and his wife Jenny have enjoyed participating in the many activities of their three grandchildren.
There are many reasons as to why not, however the most obvious one is we do not want to speak of the end to our own lives. Making advance plans is practical though, and is also a wise investment for your family's future. Make arrangements during a time of clarity and not leave them to your family during their time of grief.
Every American Veteran deserves to be shown Honor and Respect for the time given by them to this Great Nation. In an effort to show such to our deceased veterans, whose final disposition includes cremation, and to assist with a proper respectful disposal of tattered American flags that are no longer displayable, we implemented a flag retirement program.
The following checklist is designed to help you file for your Social Security benefits correctly so that prompt payments may be made. The following benefits are available to an honorably discharged U.S. Veteran: A burial allowance of up to $300will be paid to the funeral home if the veteran was receiving V.A.compensation, pension or was properly hospitalized by the Veteran's Administration.

The death of a loved one is never easy and until now didn't realize how important the Cremation folks are to the entire process. Henry and Ada are amazing, they went above and beyond to be thoughtful, helpful and work with us on everything. They also have a beautiful facility. I appreciate how accessible and helpful they were in helping me plan the service and the video they created was so nice. I highly recommend. One additional note, I called several places before finding Henry, all advertising low rates, when you call it's 3X what was advertised. Cremation Society of NC did not do

There will never be a time that I could ever repay or express my full gratitude for Christopher Hatton. This young man from the start felt this family was different. His care for my son, myself, my family. His attention to the details of the events that revolved around my son. He witnessed my son for me saving myself from a memory I would never want to have of my son. Saving my family from a memory they would never want to be their last memory of Kenneth. His care in saving me a lock of my son's hair so that I would KNOW it was my son. The items & photos he placed with my son. No one else could

Wish I could give them negative stars. They took my grandma into their “care” knowing that their crematorium was down for “regular scheduled maintenance”. They didn’t bother to tell us this until after my elderly grandfather had signed the paperwork. When we asked when they could preform the cremation they were rude and inconsiderate and just completely oblivious as to why we would be upset that we couldn’t plan a funeral without her remains. Then tried to charge us when we wanted to move her to a company that was actually able to perform the service. In this line of work you must be

John Paul could not have been a more compassionate and helpful person to work with. He came into the home and helped set expectations and answered every question. The thoughtful gestures and his presence made the whole unpleasant situation more bearable. Choosing Creamation Society of the Carolinas was and excellent choice.

The Cremation Society did a wonderful job with arrangements for my father recently, and before that my grandmother. They are kind, punctual and very professional. It's hard to go into a lot of personal detail about these hard matters, but suffice it to say I would recommend them to friends or relatives. They met or exceeded expectations and made things easier for my family at a tough time.

Cremation society of the Carolinas was a professional and understanding group that assisted in the cremation of our loved one. Although our family was located in New England, all facets of the process were handled as if we were right there and we were a member of their own family.
Highly recommend it the services of cremation society of the Carolinas.

They were very pleasing to our every need. They made sure every little and big detail was taken care of with care and genuine concern. The genuine concern to our feelings has to be the main reason I will always use this facility. The whole staff not just one but the whole staff was a blessing to our family. I cannot think of one thing that wasn't taken care of.

The Cremation Society handled all our needs in a caring professional manner. Our initial contact with Kevin was efficient, yet we never felt rushed. My mother was moved from the facility to the Cremation Society in a timely manner. Christopher was very respectful and caring helping us through the final stages of the cremation. He was very accommodating of our requests for viewing of the process and posting of the obituaries in out of state newspapers.
I would highly recommend Cremation Society of the Carolinas for taking care of the final stages of a family member's life.

Our experience with Cremation Society of the Carolinas was simply the best. They were thorough, communicated well, had great ideas and fully supported the "celebration of life" we planned. They created a wonderful DVD of pictures that I'll treasure. If I could give them 10 stars, I'd do so. Thank you Henry and thank you to the entire staff. You are much appreciated!

Our family experienced a sudden and unexpected death. Cremation Society was recommended by the facility our family member was staying. Upon contacting them Henry explained everything in great detail as to what would take place and what paperwork they would handle for us. Things I didn't even think about was brought up and addressed. Cremation Society was extremely accommodating, Henry is very knowledgeable and couldn't be more thankful for what they have done for us.
