I have been here in Marion for 20 years. I moved here from the west coast. I am married and have 4 beautiful daughters, 2 handsome boys, and an amazing grandson! I am the fur mom to 2 American bulldogs and 3 very talkative parrots. I have been here at Kem Road for 9 years and have loved it every day.
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to welcome new clients and their beloved pets into our extended family here at Kem Road with our already existing clients. I grew up in Blackford County and always had a love for animals. I began working in the veterinary field in 1990, and I graduated from Purdue's Veterinary Technician program in 1994.

Routine wellness exams are one of the most important things you can do to keep your pet healthy. The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) recommends annual wellness exams at a minimum. As your pet ages, they suggest an increase in frequency of visits. Since pets can't vocalize how they are feeling, illness or disease may be present before you are aware of symptoms.
Vaccinations help to combat diseases by exposing the pet's immune system to inactive or small amount of a particular form of bacteria or virus. Our doctors will perform a physical examination to make sure your pet is healthy enough to receive the vaccines, and help you decide which vaccines are appropriate for your pet.
Spaying or neutering your pet can help them live a longer, healthier life, and minimizes behavior problems. Spaying or neutering your pet helps control the population of unwanted litters, which contributes to thousands of euthanasia procedures and millions of stray animals. Spaying is a surgical procedure in which both ovaries and uterus are completely removed from your female pet.
Besides spay and neuter surgeries, we also perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Our veterinarian adhere to high level of standard for all surgical procedures. Using advanced technology, your pet's vital signs are monitored by our well trained veterinary technicians, who will remain with your pet through recovery.

Had my boyfriend take my cat for her first appointment and i couldn’t go because i had work. We had both said we didn’t want vaccines for her until she’s 6 months (she’s 3 months) they proceeded to take her into a different room and do exactly the opposite and made us pay for the shot we didn’t want yet in the first place. Will never come here again.
