We treat the body as a holistic system. If you have a painful part, it is likely the result of poor mechanics somewhere in the body. Besides treating the injured area, we problem solve with you, the patient, to figure out why this injury occurred, and work with you to develop strategies to prevent it from happening again.
With every patient, we evaluate the strength of the body's "core, " and how well it is working to stabilize you from inside out. The "core" is not simply abdominal strength. It is a complex mechanical system, consisting of multiple tissues that function together to maintain balance and symmetry in our bodies.

Services
At Northfield Physical Therapy, you will be treated as a person, not a diagnosis or ID number. We will take time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions and treat your condition thoroughly. Patient education is a cornerstone of our treatment philosophy. We want you to understand why the exercises and suggestions are important to your getting better.
The human body requires a delicate balance of flexibility and strength to function optimally. If we move our bodies in an unbalanced way, or an external force causes an injury, our muscles and joints are loaded asymmetrically. This may not result in pain immediately, because of the body's ability to compensate.

I am a pharmacist and I live out of town, but I often visit Northfield. I heard about Northfield Physical Therapy and that JB Dudley could work miracles with various physical ailments. I had a persistent problem with pain in my feet which is especially problematic for someone who has to stand 8 to 12 hours per day. JB was amazing! He diagnosed the problem, not by looking at my feet, but by watching me walk and looking at my entire body. He was able to determine that my hips were out of alignment which made one legs shorter than the other, ultimatley wreaking havoc on my entire body. He was also

JB Dudley is amazing, I had suffered from lower back pain for years, and was contemplating surgery, after meeting with JB and going through an extensive examination, as it turns out, I had 5 ribs that were turned and out of place, this also causing one leg to be longer than the other because I had limped to one side for so long, after getting the proper “Adjustment” and some ultra sonic therapy, my back pain was completely gone, after years of suffering, all it took was going to the expert,, JB,,, I wish I could give JB more than 5 stars

PT Dave is literally the best physical therapist I’ve ever seen. I’ve had so many back problems and surgeries over the years and I’m only 36, I was told last year I needed another surgery and I said absolutely not because I already had lower back surgery last year, I asked around locally for a good place because I was driving all the way up to the cities and was told to go see Dave and I feel so blessed to have found Dave. He is so nice and he asks questions, he’s patient and I can tell he is one of the rare few who actually listens to everything I say and he addresses 100% of my questions

As a registered dietitian who has worked for twenty years in the rehabilitation segment of health care, my expectations with the Therapist at Northfield Physical Therapy live up to the high expectations I have.
To get the most our of your experience you need to do your part and here are three recommendations. 1. Tell the therapist what you expect, need and want. For example after my knee replacement, I expected to ride bicycle, get off the floor and return to gardening, hiking and other things I've enjoyed all my life. Review the progress of your plan frequently.
2. If something isn't going well
