St. Louis Family Martial Arts Academy is located at 15825 Manchester Road (In Apple Tree Square) in Ellisville, Missouri (West St. Louis County). Dwight Trower is the Owner and Director of Instruction at the Academy, and has been teaching and training in the area since 1982. St. Louis Family Martial Arts Academy is one of the largest and most successful schools in the St. louis Area.
Our Little Ninja program is an age specific class designed specifically for preschool and kindergarten children from the ages of four to six. This once a week program is designed to increase attention span and motor skill development. We focus on the eight skill levels of Focus, Teamwork, Self Control, Balance, Memory, Discipline, Fitness, and Coordination.
We provide a FREE uniform in all of our introductory memberships. For the first class just wear a pair of sweat pants and a T-shirt and we'll fit you for a uniform. Our program is based on a foundation of traditional Tae Kwon Do with influences from a variety of martial arts. Our staff has an extensive background training in multiple systems and we pass on the best lessons from different martial arts.

I recommend this place as a great starting place for martial arts and have enjoyed taking classes there myself... very great place to start and I find it fun to be there with others now that I have gone there many years... I would recommend having someone else that the people going know so that if they get nervous they can have someone to “back them up”. There are drills that we do, we get a good workout, and can learn many things along the way including forms, kicks, stances, blocks, and how to defend yourself if you were attacked. They also have a push-up system that we follow where every
