With our current appointment system you never have to go more than 1 day without your bike! We'll be happy to help! Every non-SBB bike we build goes through the same standard procedure and safety checklist as our store bikes and customer tune-ups! All oversized bikes such as tandems, recumbents, recumbent trikes, adult trikes, etc. will have a $50 surcharge.

Been looking for a bike for a few months and none of the big box stores had any that were worth a hoot. Came through North Liberty from the back roads to get Lake McBride and came across this bike shoppe! Get customer service and very knowledgeable and will not hose you over. Prices are very reasonable for a wide range of people. In house service with good pricing (service menu on wall). We'll stocked too.

I traveled 5 hours south of my home to purchase my bike from this shop. Absolutely worth all the time and money spent to support Sugar Bottom Bikes. These guys carry a quality inventory, know how to build a solid bike from the frame up, and are extremely customer-experience-centric. Even enjoy a free beer in the shop while you celebrate the purchase of your new bike! Amazing Service! I bought a 2021 Bianchi Arcadex from these guys! From the moment I found it, I contacted them and they replied right away letting me know it was available and provided photos and answered all my questions. Three days later after I placed the order online, they shipped my bike and within 2 days it arrived all the way from Iowa to Texas. The added a cool water bottle to match the color of the bike and a very nice bottle cage. I will definitely recommend buying your next ride from Sugar Bottom Bikes! They rock!

I normally do not post reviews but in the instance I would find it a shame not to. Nate @ SB and their team was truly amazing, I had them set up a new cassette, woof tooth, bike computer, and tubeless tires before Ragbrai and everything was seamless and perfect. The only thing was that I had one issue with one of my tires not sealing and found myself putting a tube in my tire on Ragbrai to resolve. When I arrived back I contacted Nate at SB just letting him know the issue and the tire seal problem. I honestly didn’t not expect anything and found SB going way out of their way to make it right

Very customer focused, great selection, helped us pick out an excellent bike for my wife. On a different visit, even though the kids bike we were looking for was sold out, they still gave us advice and let my son test ride the bikes they did have. They even provided a reference to a different store in the area that could still have the bike. This customer focus makes us want to come back and shop with them again!

This shop has such great customer service, always seeing if you're getting the help you need without being overbearing. It's a hard balance to strike always being there at the ready with any information you want without ever being pushy and they strike it beautifully. Have bought four bikes from them thus far and will continue to be a customer in the future. They also have a great selection of all of the core needs of a cyclist from equipment and tires to bikes and accessories.
