I brought my older bicycle, (that has a lot of miles and associated abuse), in for a "tune up". My bike received all the necessary new parts and adjustments needed to provide many more years of enjoyment. Curtis and others were very helpful, informative and friendly. I highly recommend the shop for your bicycling needs!

I stopped into Goldfinch Cyclery for the first time today. First off I was shocked that I was not bike shamed as I have felt when I have gone into other local bike stores. Instead I was greeted with encouraging words that makes me want to continue on my biking riding quests with their positive attitude towards getting out to ride. I like their attitude of it doesn't matter what kind of bike I'm ridding just as long as I'm having fun doing it. I will be back to Goldfinch Cyclery in the future as I love the bicycling vibes I picked up from just being in the store looking around.

This bike shop is a throwback to when customers was truly taken care of. You will undoubtedly run into one the 4 passionate owners if you visit the shop. They know bikes! The love keeping old bikes on the street and wont rip you off! I was told my trek carbon 2300 was unrepairable, and i should spend a couple k on a new one. For $100 my bike is like new. These guys have all my business!

These guys are AWESOME! Had a flat tire on a ride and didn't realize it until 6:02pm. Tried calling Goldfinch (who closes at 6pm). They not only answered but said COME ON BY and we'll get you back up and running! GREAT customer service, super sweet, caring gentlemen that helped this lady when her hubby accidently left the valve open on her tire and she created a hole in the tube by riding on it a short distance 🤦♀️ Will DEF be giving them my service from now on and will tell everyone I know to do the same! THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!

Between the genuine, friendly staff, convenient hours, great service and attention to precaution during COVID, Goldfinch has easily become my favorite bike shop in the Cedar Rapids area. You never feel like a bother whether you're coming in for for service or browsing for an accessory. To top it off, their location right in the heart of Newbo is also a great plus. Definitely recommend.

I arrived for a repair an hour before the store was scheduled to open. As I was putting the bike back in my van, another person showed up with a bike as well. I mentioned that the store didn't open for another hour, and he said, "Well actually I am an owner. How can I help?" He proceeded to take my bike into the store, perform the repair in under 20 minutes, return the bike to me and process my payment. I was on my way within 25 minutes of arriving, with you at a half an hour before the store was meant to open. This is indicative of the kind of service they provide. Truly awesome!

My bike rides better than new. Brought it in for a tune up this July; I was warned that they had a lot of bikes in right now and it may take 20 odd days for me to get it back. I was okay with that, but they got it back to me in under two weeks.
Thaddeus and Lillian (hope I got your names right!) were remarkably pleasant and attentive to what I needed done on my bike. Now it's shifting great and the brakes are super responsive. I will be bringing my Giant here from now on whenever I need a tune up!

When you go to any kind of specialty shop, you want to feel a level of confidence in the employees. As soon as you walk into Goldfinch Cyclery you feel that confidence. The Employees are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.
I took my bike in for a tuneup and they walked through everything they would do in easy to understand terms. When I picked it up and was asking questions about accessories, they took the time to show me around and made sure I got exactly what I needed.
Taking it one step further, I asked them to check out my bike rack to make sure that I had it installed correctly. They

Goldfinch found the perfect bike for me. I'm 70 and need a solid bike, but I want performance, too. They had in-stock any accessories I needed; they did not push unneeded extras. They insisted that I try it out for fit and comfort.

I'm an avid bike rider, but really didn't know all that much about the best type of bike I should have for the types of rides I go on. The folks at Goldfinch Cyclery were so knowledgeable and helpful... they selected a couple of options for me, and explained the benefits of each bike. The bikes aren't cheap... but I do believe they're a good value. There's a great vibe and energy in the shop... no attitude, and the guys just want to help out their customers anyway they can. I highly recommend Goldfinch.

My husband and I visited this wonderful bicycle shop today on our visit from Chicago to Cedar Rapids. We talked with Chad who is one of the owners. He couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. He spent an hour with us explaining all kinds of bike accessories and was so knowledgeable and experienced. We didn't even buy anything, but if we lived here, I would give him all my biking business. Later we went biking on a local trail and couldn't locate the trailhead so we called the Goldfinch Cyclery. They gave us the directions we needed to get to the trail and have a great ride

Both my mom and boyfriend have purchased bikes here, I already own a bike so I've just gone with them or picked up some supplies here and there. What a great team that works here. Every time I've gone in whoever has helped us has been kind and knowledgeable. My mom was really struck by the level of service this past weekend when she got her bike that they didn't seem to be pushing her to buy a bike, but were looking to find her the best bike to fit her needs. There's clearly a consistent sales process that is followed in the shop and it's one that works to provide individualized

I'm very pleased with my experience with this newer bike shop. Logan and staff were super friendly and attentive when I walked in the door for service. I assumed that I'd have to leave my mountain bike for a few days so they could complete the repair on my brakes, but before I even had a chance to blink, they had it on a stand and we're getting ready to start the repairs. Their time and cost estimate were both right on, they got me fixed up, and out the door in record time. I'll definitely use these guys again. Their decor fits in wonderfully in New Bo. I wish these guys the
