In Hawaiian, the word napili can mean a couple of things. It can refer to a native grass called pili, which ancient Hawaiians used as thatching for traditional hale (houses). But pili also means to cling or stick to, and it's a word that's used to describe feelings of closeness and familiarity. In the 1950s, Kepoikai Aluli, along with his business partner Yoshiho "Y" Ogami, purchased the land where our hotel sits.
Our condominium rentals are located just steps from Napili Beach, the most beautiful beach in West Maui. With just 30 units surrounding a quiet tropical oasis, this is where you come for ho'omaha - for rest and relaxation. Most of our rooms are either a Studio or One-Bedroom layout. The main difference is that the Studios have an open floor plan, whereas the One-Bedroom units have separate living and sleeping areas.

I give this place two stars because it has a good location and the girl at the front desk was extremely nice. However, I recommend you to pay a little extra and stay somewhere else. The walls are paper-thin and I can hear people taking and even their phones vibrating next room. You can also hear every foot step, door opening, and conversations from upstairs. The other guests are not being loud, it is just the the wooden floors and paper thin walls amplifies the sounds and wake you up in the middle of EVERY NIGHT. Our room does not have curtains on the front window and people can see us walking

Wonderful quality. Friends got married at the resort right around the corner and I was able to walk 500 ft on the beach to the resort! Lots of reviews complained about no TVs, tbh-no TVs made this place perfect. Quaint, easy check in, super simple walk to the beach (30 seconds), great Hawaii coffee store for breakfast around the corner. Could not be happier with this hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay! The only recommendation I have would be darker curtains for those of us who are jet lagged! But truly a 5 star stay.

The room was clean and modern, but there were a lot of little things that detracted from being a great vacation spot.
The good things: The staff was wonderful. The pool was great. And the price was very good. The gardens were awesome and we loved looking out at them.
The things that could be improved easily: One of the beach chairs was broken, so we did not use them. There was no roasting pan or anything like it for the oven. We purchased one and left it there. There was only one comfortable indoor chair. There were two heavy metal chairs for the dining table. The daybed was stained and needed

Just checked in and I’m shocked with how bad the toilet is… overall unit is very old. I have never seen such horrible toilet in my whole life.. i will talk to the reception tomorrow. Please take your money else where- i wish i did the same. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned how old and outdated the unit is!

What a great time we had in Maui and Napili Village Hotel! The hotel is the best choice if you are looking for a quiet and clean place and want to save some cash. The rooms are big enough to accommodate 2-3 people. They have fully equipped kitchens if you are in the mood for cooking your meals. We were lucky to have beach equipment and swimming gears. The first day we arrived we didn't have a beach umbrella. The store nearby didn't have them either. I decided to ask the lady at the reception if they had one by chance. To my surprise she got me one big umbrella that made my stay on the beach much

My family had an amazing time. The Napili Beach was literally a 2 min walk from our hotel room. Dean and Kelly were super friendly and helpful. I booked this place because we have kids and this place had a separate bedroom which was perfect for our kids, who fell asleep before we did. Most other hotels I saw had studio style rooms. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze and the staff accommodated our awkward flight schedule with early check-in and late check-out. Thanks Dean!

We like this place. Been coming here as a family for decades. It’s just off the beach, but you can walk there in about 2 minutes easily. The rooms are casual and have full kitchens with utensils, plates, mugs, steak knives etc.. The pool is always well kept and hardly used, leaving it available for anyone to use.
