Established in 1985, Old Georgetown Mental Health Associates, LLC is a group of seven board certified psychiatrists, committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients.

Treatment of adult psychiatric conditions such as depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, panic, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, sleep disorders, stress and the psychological impact of other medical conditions.Therapy addressing issues such as relationship difficulties, stress management, life transitions, and grief and bereavement.
Services
Our offices are in the Camalier Building in Bethesda, near the intersections of Old Georgetown Road, I-270 and Democracy Boulevard. Old Georgetown Mental Health Associates is accessible by public transportation. We are closest to the Grosvenor and Medical Center Metro Stations. The J2 and J3 buses provide transportation to our offices.
If you are new to this practice and wish to discuss scheduling a consultation, please call the doctor directly using our main telephone number and the doctor's extension. Requests for changes in medications and refills on existing prescriptions are best handled during your scheduled office visit.

If a refill must be called in prior to an appointment, please ask your pharmacist to send your doctor a request either electronically or via fax to 301-897-8537.If you need a new prescription or a refill for a controlled substance, please call your doctor directly to request it.
Dr. Fowler is board-certified adult psychiatrist who works using a variety of psychotherapy techniques as well as psychopharmacology. She specializes in depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, relationship difficulties and emotional distress related to medical illness and psychosocial stressors.
Dr. Galescu practices general adult psychopharmacology and psychotherapy. She specializes in depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, relationship/parenting difficulties and emotional distress related to medical illness. Dr. Galescu enjoys tailoring the treatment according to the individual circumstances.
Dr. Horn practices general adult psychiatry and is valued for spending the time needed with his patients to create solutions tailored for them. He prescribes medications, engages with patients in psychotherapy and works closely with other psychotherapists. His office is located in the Camalier Building and he has been practicing psychiatry in Bethesda, Maryland since 2000.
