Skyline Prep was ranked number two in CAA Division1A in 2018 for Football and State Champions in 2020 for basketball. Skyline Prep High School is a 9-12, 501(c)3 non-profit, tuition free, open enrollment public charter. We have highly individualized instruction, small classes and focus on creating a family-like, community-centered environment.
Skyline Prep High School promotes a commitment to excellence in education and life by developing student character that is used to improve the lives of our students, their families, and the Phoenix, AZ, communities in which they live. It begins by teaching and modeling character strengths that establish our core values.
Highly effective teachers are the foundation by which students receive a strong education. Leadership at all levels is paramount to the success of our program and it begins with our teachers. We focus on empowerment, training and a strong team environment to ensure success. We strive to provide resources, coaching and professional development to ensure teachers can successfully educate students.
Helping high school students create their own success is a combination of skilled teaching staff, robust resources, vision-driven planning, and self-motivated students. This perfect amalgamation is not easy to pull off, but at Skyline Prep High School, we believe every student is capable of incredible results in an optimal environment.
With Chromebooks opening up a world of opportunity through educational variety, student engagement and completion levels have risen with them. Our teachers still utilize physical classroom resources, of course, but adding 1:1 Chromebooks for high school students to the mix has established an educational challenge not possible in prior decades.
