I recently attended Vista West Ranch for a wedding. There were a lot of out of town guests and everyone who worked there was so accommodating! The venue is absolutely stunning!! The property is one of the most beautiful in the hill country, and everyone really enjoyed themselves. The bride and groom were over the moon about the whole experience. If you want a beautiful place with a lot of inclusions this is for you. You won't be disappointed!

I would CAUTION any bride/groom or organizer who is considering having an event at either the Creek Haus or Vista West Ranch, both of which are owned by Stacey and Joe. My fiancé and I enjoyed working with them in the beginning - they were friendly, helpful and responsive. But when the pandemic hit, that changed. We understood that the world was in a peculiar place when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and companies were struggling, but at the end of the day you hope people will do the right thing, SADLY the Creek Haus and Vista West Ranch did NOT!
Our destination wedding was to be in November

This Texan styled wedding ranch is tucked in the heart of Dripping Springs near Austin. I went there for a friend's wedding on a Saturday. The place itself can be hard to find, given that it is in the middle of nowhere and the signs are easy to miss.
There is a decent parking lot for about 25ish cars in the front and more parking in the back which is a plus. The walkway is full cobbles so can be hard to walk on in heels. The indoor venue is warmly lit and has very Texan barn kind of vibes. It was good for a wedding but I am not sure what else does it have to offer apart from that.

My husband and I got married at Vista West back in April 2017 and couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish. We knew from the second we found Vista West online that this was going to be our wedding venue. We did a tour at one of their open houses and booked on the spot, plus we found a ton of other great vendors we ended up working with. The whole team is amazing, the venue is gorgeous, and every single thing about our wedding day was so great. If you are thinking about having your wedding here, book it right now! I wish I could go back and do it all over again

Vista West Ranch was my dream venue for both my ceremony and reception. I had been following it on Pinterest for years. So, when we stopped by for an Open House, I was sold immediately. Be prepared to have a long wait if you want to get married here! The waiting period was about 18 months when we booked in January 2016, but it was totally worth it.
The venue is absolutely gorgeous, it comes with several perks (DJ, Bartenders, and a Coordinator). Having a coordinator the day of my wedding absolutely was a godsend. She works with you and handles so many things that could and do go wrong on your

We initially stopped at VWR because we were in Dripping Springs looking at another wedding venue that I thought I had my heart set on. When I found out how much *wasn't* included at that venue and how limited we were in using their specific vendors, we decided to stop at VWR on the way home. I am SO glad we did. As soon as we met up with Brieann who showed us around, I was impressed. She was warm and welcoming and the entire staff seemed so easy going. The venue is drop dead gorgeous, but it's the service that really made us decide to go with them. They include so much in their package

Where do I even begin? I knew I loved VWR the moment I stumbled upon their website and then even more so when I went to visit the property for the first time. Joe gave us a tour and I could vividly imagine the fun and celebration we wanted to have taking place right where I was standing. Needless to say, we booked with VWR the next day. They respond to emails in a timely manner. They provide WONDERFUL preferred vendors. The vendors that are included in the package go above and beyond and provide awesome guidance. I would HIGHLY recommend VWR for your wedding and reception location. The grounds

Honestly, I don't even know where to begin with my review because our wedding left us completely speechless. We had our wedding at The Creek Haus on June 4, 2016. Our wedding weekend was picture perfect; everything we dreamed about and more. Joe, Stacey and the whole team were fabulous to work with. Whenever we had questions, they were easily accessible and provided quick responses. They checked on us throughout the weekend and ensured everything was going smoothly. They provided above and beyond, more than excellent, customer service. They are flexible, eager to please, passionate, fun and

I don't even know where to begin, I have been in love with VWR since I saw photos of it online and let me tell you, photos don't even do it justice. You have to see this place in person if you get the chance. This beautiful hidden gem in Dripping Springs, TX speaks for itself, you can decorate it to the nine or leave it simple, it's perfect and it smells amazing everywhere all the time (I don't know how they do it!)
My brand new husband and I had the honor and privilege to have our wedding at VWR this July and it was absolutely perfect. I was skeptical about the heat in July

We held my daughter's wedding at Vista West Ranch last weekend. The venue is absolutely beautiful; we received many compliments from guests about how perfect it was. We did a lot of research on venues and selected Vista West Ranch as a perfect fit for the wedding "personality" my daughter and her fiance wanted. Other than the setting, one other major reason we selected them is that they offer a list of recommended vendors, but do not require you to use them. I rated it a 4 out of 5 stars for the following reasons:
1) The day of coordinator did not provided much value add. I

This past weekend I was in a wedding here and really enjoyed most things about this venue.
Yes it is a little bit out from civilization but that was actually great, it allowed us to focus on the occasion at hand and not the hustle and bustle of life around us. Really enjoyed that we (the bridesmaids and bride) could all stay on the grounds the night before in the bunk house, it was our final slumber party with our bride and that made it so special. Only downside is there was NO cell service whatsoever in the bunk house but luckily as soon as you stepped out of it you quickly regained service.

My husband & I live in New York, so trying to find our venue was nerve wracking, especially knowing we wouldn't be able to see the space before making the final decision. VWR was the first venue I saw when we began searching for the perfect place to say "I do." I knew instantly this was the one.
While we were waiting for a dispensation from the Catholic church, Joe was incredibly helpful & accommodating. Our communications through e-mail were clear, timely & extremely friendly! My father took over communications with Joe early on to help with delegating, & the two

Dear Brian and Cindy (Stacey and Joe, too!),
We met you in April of 2011. Kayla, our daughter, said she wanted a "Texas, Hill Country, barn wedding." Since Kayla lives in Memphis, she had found you on-line, but being native Texans ourselves, we understood her desire. Well, we were at your unique property within 18 hours! After we had some sweeeet conversation, wine and cheese, it became clear to us this WAS the place our daughter was to be married! We booked on the spot, without the bride even seeing the property. Six months later when Kayla was able to visit and see her venue in person

Let me start by saying Vista West Ranch is a gorgeous venue that has a lot to offer but I would agree that everything needs to be in writing. The venue was sold in the middle of our planning and they started adding and changing contracts so there was a lot of confusion about what was and was not included in our contract. Like basic lighting... Not included! I'm just saying...
Would we pick vista west again? Yes because we loved our wedding and the venue was perfect for what we wanted but for the amount of money you pay for the venue I feel more customer service is needed.

I did finally hear back from VWR (right after I wrote my original post). My husband and I were informed that we would not be getting any portion of our deposit back for 4 various reason the owner's husband stated in an e-mail. I can personally say that 3 of the reasons he used were completely false and unsubstantiated. The fourth reason (candle wax on linens) I can neither confirm, nor deny, as I wasn't there during the clean up.
I'll just repeat what I said in my previous review - make sure that you get EVERYTHING in writing. The family which owns VWR is very nice, and we took
