Services
The GBC has the largest inventory in Central New York of bikes, clothes, parts and accessories and has been voted top 100 bike shops in the USA 10 years in a row. We draw customers from far and wide because of our knowledgeable staff, our incredible selection, warm atmosphere and dependable service department.
We offer repairs on most makes and models of bikes. We also stock parts for just about anything, and we'll special order what we don't have. We are happy to answer your questions, big or small, and also offer free estimates on all repairs while you wait. We are truly a full service bike shop. When looking for a replacement part always attempt to bring in the old part; or better yet, the whole bike.
Many of our employees have been working with us for years and carry a deep passion for biking. We're also a tight-knit group who likes to trail ride together on our days off. Currently ride with Sidi road shoes I bought 13 years ago and still in great shape. Have also bought gloves, socks, booties, shirts, tires and a bike rack, all great quality. But the main reason I keep returning are the two bikes I have purchased there over the years and the consistent, quality service your staff provides to keep them in tip top shape. The Giant Revolt gravel bike I bought last year is so much fun on any surface that I can’t wait to get out on it every chance I get. No other place to go for biking needs in the area.

A couple of weeks ago, I came into the shop without an appointment and needing repair on my bike to get through the last few days of Ironman training and the Ironman event itself. Mark Hartman, master mechanic, dropped other work to diagnose and craft a fabulous fix on my Cervelo gear cable, at frame entry. Then, he suggested a couple of tires that would be faster and offer decent flat protection. Well the big day, Ironman Indiana, was last Saturday and, thanks to you, my bike was a super-star. I rode the 2nd fastest bike time in my age group and averaged 18.5 mph for the full 112 miles, a speed

I’ve been shopping at Geneva Bike Shop for the past decade. They are a gem in the small town of Geneva, NY. Jim, the owner, knows how to hire and train good people who are customer focused and passionate about biking. While it may be a bit of a drive (60 miles for me), it is worth the time and energy to shop there.

The person who served me (Tim, I think?) was very generous with his time, answered all my questions, and recommended products (without being pushy in any way) to make my riding experience the most comfortable and safe it could be. Suzanne was very polite on the phone and extremely helpful once I arrived at the store. The store was very busy, but she helped me right away, made sure that the bike was fitted correctly, then sent me away on a test ride! After riding, she was able to address all of my concerns without pushing me to purchase this particular bike. I bought the bike and went for a 15 mile ride a day later...she was 100% correct. The bike fits me perfectly and is an awesome ride. I'm from NJ and will drive all the way to Geneva the next time I purchase a bike.

Cool store! Came in to get some bike pedals removed and new ones put on. They took care of us immediately. We had the wrong size pedals so they advised us and sold us the correct ones. The technician also found a broken clasp and fixed it!
Pricing was as expected. There is a lot of accessories and bikes to choose from. Trek dealership.

Quite simply the high water mark for what I believe a specialty bicycle store can/should be. In an era when the "local bike shop" is an endangered species, the guys and girls of Geneva Bicycle Center continue to prove that they are sill vital, relevant, and utterly worthwhile. I have worked in bike shops for more than half my life, owned a successful store myself for 6 years, and now that I closed my own store, I am proud to call myself a customer of one of the greatest bike shops anywhere. I can recommend this business and each member of the staff for everything from the simple repair
