I took my bike there 5 times and every time I got home and got in it something broke. The first time a piece of the rear derailleur fell off after riding 100 feet on a pavement road the second time the brand new chain broke off after just being installed the 3rd time after a new chain was put on the shifting was terrible and the chain was skipping awfully. The 4th time they after the fixed the shifting the said they chain skipped because it was not a high end derailleur I got home and looked at the cassette and there we teeth missing so they clearly didn’t look at the cassette at all. Over all

We bought my wife’s bike at Park Ave so we could get a quality bike, properly fit to her and all components properly assembled and adjusted. Well, the bike itself was very nice, good quality and a fair price. Unfortunately the assembly was not good!! The handle bars were loose, on her first ride she applied the brake and the handle bars dropped forward causing her to almost loose control of the bike. The right brake was not adjusted properly and the brake handle hits the handle bar. Park Ave shop installed a water bottle holder and....yup, it was never tightened and would not hold the bottle

Go somewhere else, unless you like being lied to.
I bought a brand new bike from Park Ave in May '19. I payed $1400, and asked if they would set the tires up tubeless. The mechanic in birkenstocks took the bike into the back and waited 20 minutes. He brought back the bike and told me it was set up tubeless from the factory and that I was all set.
I recently bought new tires and when I went to install them I discover that he had blatantly lied to me. It was not set up tubeless. There were actually tubes in the rim. Why lie about? Just charge me $100 and do the conversion. This is laziness, and

In the midst of the current covid pandemic with little else to do I pulled out my Kona mountain bike. The bike is about 15 years old and has had a lot of miles put on it. But of late it was collecting dust.
I immediately noticed the hydraulic disc brake levers were bottomed out and useless. I called several shops in the area. All very busy as everyone had the same idea with the weather getting nice out. When I called Park Ave Henrietta I was able to speak to Chris in service and he made a point to take the time despite being super busy to get an idea of what was wrong with my bike. Collecting

I have never in my life experienced such rude "customer service" in my entire life. Went in willing to pay a good amount of money for two bikes and was confronted by an angry and what felt like aggressive worker. He wanted nothing to do with helping us, and when he started to look up what they had in stock at other locations he said "honestly I have a really busy day, you can just go and check yourself" and walked back to the bike he was working on.

We order online to have a bike rack shipped to Rochester. After six days and getting the runaround we ended up driving to the store to pick up the bike rack. I telephoned the store at least 17 times with no answer. We were told that our bike rack was not at the store and there was "no way for (the employee) to figure out why". The employee was rude, unhelpful and I almost walked out before double checking. The bike rack was indeed at the store. I will never purchase from this store again.

My parents wanted to get me a fancy new bike as a graduation present but between myself and the two of them, we had zero knowledge on bikes. Ben at Tom's Pro Bike couldn't have been more helpful from start to finish. He gave my parents a few options initially to surprise me with. After looking through those on my own, I then got in touch with Ben and we we able to find the perfect bike for me. He let me come in and test ride the bikes that I was choosing between. He was able to answer every single question that I had and explained everything about the bike so I knew exactly what I was

I dropped my bike off to have some service done and they were plenty helpful and friendly. The process were about average. So I brought my girlfriends bike in to have them do their mid level tune up which includes brake adjustments, wheel true on the bike, adjustment of brakes and some other various parts, and greasing a few parts. I was charged $80+ for this service. I understand they have to keep lights on and pay people. Fine. I get home and not a single thing on the bike has been touched. No grease anywhere. Brakes are the same if not worse than when I dropped it off. $80 for them to just let

I moved before winter last year, and my bike has been put in my garage since the move. I am riding for the ride for Roswell on 6/22, so i thought to check the bike and try it out this past Sunday when it stopped raining. To my surprise, the mover had pressed the handle bar so much that the wheel is now at 90 degree! I quickly find where the closest bike shop was, but on Sunday it is closed. Monday afternoon, i took the bike in, in less than 15 minutes, my bike was aligned, tire inflated, break checked! And he did not charge me anything! Now if I need buy any bike stuff, and my bike serviced, this

My husband and I decided to get our daughter a nice bike of good quality and chose Park Avenue bike. When my husband stopped in after work to look for bikes he was treated poorly as a customer and judged on his work clothes. He didn't receive good customer service and the sales associate/manager was very skeptical about even holding the bike until we could bring my vehicle to come pick it up. When we went to purchase The bike the manager waited an absurdly long time to make sure the charge cleared on our credit card.

I am a pretty avid cyclist riding both mountain and road, I took my road bike in to get a tune up and have some parts replaced. The employees were all very helpful and knowledgeable about their work. The tune up was done in about 3 days, not to bad if you ask me. While picking it up my cousin came along to look at bikes since she is getting into biking more. The sales representative that helped her out was very nice and answered all of her questions and helped her try out several different bikes to find her correct size. Overall a wonderful bike shop.
