Love the environment, Deli type set up. So get ready to step on up and find your favorite portions to make your meal. Really good food my personal favorite is the garbanzo soup over yellow rice. Would definitely return again. Oh even better, they offer uber eats, and doordash....No I'm not advertising, oh but I am because I was very impressed even the staff warm friendly and eager to serve you what ever you asked for.. Hope you joy you experience as I have my..

Great food. Huuugggeee portions (I got 2 full meals and I’m a big eater) for the price. I got the chicken, black beans, and yellow rice. Chicken was super flavorful but honestly the rice and beans were the star. I could have had a whole thing of just them. My wife got the pork and it was cooked well but bland in terms of spice.
Cafeteria style ordering and I will say if you do not speak Spanish and are unfamiliar with the cuisine it may feel overwhelming, especially since they are usually busy. You gotta make a choice and get going!

The place was clean and for that i give it a star. However, the fish was cold and the skin was tough/soggy. The rice was warm and the beans were warm. Basically nothing was hot (165 degrees). I will probably be sick later. The tea was not sweet. I wish we would have been offered the food fresh. I know it is cafeteria style but it would have been nice to eat an actual fried fish. The cleaning lady was cleaning the entire time so i appreciate that.

Not impressed at all. I'm Puertorican and enjoy eating Spanish food, however, this place did not satisfy. I had the yellow rice which tasted like box rice and the pernil which was just ok. The maduros tasted like they were frozen. The place was busy so I had high expectations but I was totally disappointed.

My wife is Cuban so this was one of the first restaurants we had to visit after moving to Lakeland. We absolutely love this place!
For those who have never been it's kind of set up like Cafeteria. 95% of the food is already prepared and you move down the line pick what you want. There are 3-4 different kinds of rice and various kinds of fried plantains. On any given day there is also 8-10 different kinds of meat. Pork, beef, fish etc.
The staff is super friendly and bilingual so don't let that stop you from visiting.

The food was semi flavorful. It wasn't nasty. Was looking for a good cuban food spot on our drive and decided to try it. They gave cuban toast WITHOUT THE BUTTER! Who does that? The best part was the mojo and tostones for me. That was slamming! Food hurt my stomach and my wife's as well. Probably reused oil or maybe very oily. I even had a bundle of hair on my soda cup. It turned off my entire experience.

I had the fish, fried rice and black beans. The food was decent but the fish contained bits of clam shells that I bit down on. This is extremely unsafe and dangerous to mix any type of sea shell in fish stew. I understand that fish stew may contain a fish bone or two, but clam shells is unreasonable.

Good Cuban restaurant. It's a service line type of restaurant with a wide variety of meat, soups snd side choices. The pulled pork was pretty good. The fried pork rinds were good. The green beans were okay. The fried plantains were a little on the hard side. The potatoes were pretty good. Fried rice was good. Service was great. We will definitely return to try other items.

IM OBSESSED WITH THIS SOUP! this is my favorite Spanish "cafeteria styled" place in all of Brandon. The food is ALWAYS cooked to perfection, you get huge portions for the price and the staff is always friendly. To anyone who is thinking about checking this place out, you will not regret it. 10/10 recommend !!

Wow, the food was delicious!! They have lots of different options to choose from. I think the staff may seem short with people but they can go through a line very quickly because they're working so fast. I thought it was a great place for lunch!! The food is great! Fresh chicharrones! OMG yummy!!!!!!

I can't say enough good things about this place! I am HOOKED on their fried pork chunks, black beans and boiled yucca.
It is an little unassuming commercial area with a half dirt parking lot. They have a cafeteria a la carte style ordering where you start with your bases like rice or beans and then pick your protein and finish up with sides. Don't worry about the food being fresh, this place is slammed and they have trouble keeping all the trays full sometimes!
The prices are fair and you get plenty of food! The flavors are amazing and you get some cuban bread and butter to go
